But within the mostly Olympian Iron Warriors, she in comparison is like a caring older sister/mother who respects their pride (unlike the actual Legion Mother) and is so thoughtful of them. Look, their bar is low. Very, very low. Like a few words of praise and I'll get on my knees for you kinda low. Half the 1st Battalion basically is her fanclub and the only ones who really dislike her are those loyal to the nobles, who want the harsh social climate to remain unforgiving and elitist and classist. Berossus doesn't like her, Harkor REALLY doesn't like her cause then he can't expend his own men like cannon fodder without having to think about them dead, Toramino thinks he can play around her suggestions changing Iron Warriors attitude towards themselves little by little but gets influenced himself by Senge.
She's the kind of caring Iron Warriors can accept cause her care is very gentle and lowkey and she doesn't demand, she suggests with a barrage of reasons backing her up as well as a lot of talking to various Iron Warriors. Forrix realizes what she's doing but doesn't stop her, because she helped diffuse arguments that mightve meant supply shortages and the death rate and therefore calculations of death went down. Iron Warriors now tend to live longer and don't need to be replenished as hastily.
There even is a small librarius program going on with the Thousand Sons, and Barban Falk as well as Sultarn Vull Bronn are becoming top psykers thanks to the culminated knowledge and improved communication. Sentimentalities didn't change much actually - they still gamble with their men's lives in terms of probabilities, everyone is more or less expendable within the wider Legion also. But the bondships of small groups of Iron Warriors and Thorakites and the new unit that's more or less psychic do prevent unnecessary deaths from occurring and improve the overall mood of the Astartes. Aaand the psychic powers mean less first wavers to test the enemy defenses.

The more I keep thinking about Astartes, the more I do kinda believe that they're not quite human anymore. Or at least that they don't behave like humans beyond 'they have no fear they can't get vertigo they don't fall ill' thing.

What could be the best and brightest to heave their planets up from the calamities of Old Night are instead funneled as soldiers who hardly even contemplate their transformation. They are so conditioned to follow the Emperor through the Primarchs that when they manage to not want to partake in this system they sooner rather than later fall to Chaos. Their identity wasn't erased, but heavily surpressed to make them more focused units, and in doing so, they are little more than prime material for whatever entity gets at them the most unless their will is iron (funnily enough Fabius kinda sorta withstood Chaos but probably is a slaaneshi in denial and Forrix didn't either but in the end I read between the lines that he was starting to become undivided).
Basically the Emperor created highly instable Frankensteins monsters in the long run who could only be ruled over with his equally unstable primarchs staying loyal and mostly unquestioning to him. And if the theory that the Emperor planned a different version of the Heresy is true, he was gambling very very high on the well-being of all of Humanity. Was this the thread of future that had the greatest chance to combat Chaos? Did he focus more on the Xenos so they won't be much of a physical and psychic problem in the materium? Did he want to purify Humanity with a version of the Heresy that would see those with a weak will and who are weak to Chaos corruption wiped before he would take Humanity into the Webway? One can only speculate, but even if it was necessary, it's still gruesome to reduce tens of millions of men up to the organic level into tools. Like a bird who's wings have been clipped so the farmer can keep it better in check, but then the bird cannot fly away when the wolf eventually tries to get a bite out of them.

The North and South believe(d) in this too, but in a very different way and also a lot more grim than most Equatorials do.

It's a trinity cause of course rows of three are still seen in various societies touched by Christianity as fortunate, lucky and special. The trinity of God has kind of morphed into a belief in your own people as the world moved towards rationalism and material essentialism in the Dark Age of Technology. Thus the father being the medic, the son being the rider and the holy spirit being the priest. This has been the most pronounced within what was Jermani-descendant societies from all around the galaxy. So much, that this belief spawned psychic powers on its own and this very knowledge needed a whole planet to get stored in, thus, all-temperate Schalltung near the Solar System was chosen to relieve every Jermani descent society ofr their records so that they may get rigorously archived.

The People's Trinity often gets translated into various games, including a mix of chess and monopoly (i forgot how that game with the houses and tge four colors is called, here it's called Mensch-ärgere-dich-nicht), various extremely simplified tabletop games (as there's only three types and you're the ruler) and even a rock-paper-scissors variation.
It's rather common for the pride of someone working a 'white' job to hold your index finger up high - you've just got all the knowledge needed at your fingertip.
'Grey' workers often pump their fists in the air or do so whilst holding a representative tpol of their respective craft. Ie. a sword for a knight, a hammer or a saw for a carpenter etc.
'Black' workers put the flat palms of their hands together and either hold them high or hoist them up over and over again.
They do this as a sign of pride when they did something outstanding that will usually help the entire trinity of people and of course to roughly identify themselves.
