They really need to stop letting Moffat out in public. 

Yes, let’s remember that a younger white actor will always catch up with and eventually earn more than a better known Asian actress with almost 30 years of experience. I’m sure you all meant well with your corrections and you didn’t consider this aspect of Hollywood and the film industry that Moffat obviously believes in. Let’s try to have a more fair and balanced discussion. Who would like to start by discussing white privilege?

Really? White privilege? This is where we end up, after discussing the popularity of two different Sherlock Holmes incarnations? Can't we just agree that Cumberbatch is a rising star right now (at least to the general public) and that his increasing value reflects that?
