A cool drink with the bright flavors of lime and lemongrass that is both refreshing and sour.
Ingredients: 4 lemongrass stalks. 4 limes, juiced. 1/2 cup sugar. 2 cups water. Ice cubes. Lime slices and lemongrass stalks, for garnish.
Instructions: Cut the stalks of lemongrass off at the ends and hit them with a rolling pin to make the flavor come out. Put the lime juice, sugar, water, and lemongrass in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and let it cook for 5 minutes. Take the mixture off the heat and let it cool down all the way. Pour the liquid through a strainer into a pitcher. Throw away the lemongrass. Put the mixture in the fridge and wait until it is cold. To serve, put ice cubes in each glass and pour the chilled lime and lemongrass mix on top of the ice. Add a lime slice and a stalk of lemongrass to the top of each glass. Have fun!
