These two make me unbelievably sick to the bone.

Endlessly diabolical how you can't say words like rape and suicide uncensored without either being criticised by idiots or punished by conglomerates.
It's not r*pe, it's rape. It's not su*cide, it's suicide. Not unalive, dead. The backbone needs to be reintroduced en masse because softening the blow of these concepts with advertising language does absolutely nothing but allow people unaffected by them to feel not even a sting of what they can do, prompting inaction.
And it's been proven that on certain websites, you don't even face a repercussion for using the words as they are. People just started censoring themselves because they feared the potential lack of views and likes and followers which is so nasty itself.
I attended an anti-suicide seminar in college. One of the big takeaways from it was that stigmatizing suicide increases the rate of suicide, because people who are feeling suicidal feel like they can't ask for help. Every time I see babytalk garbage like 'unalive', I think of that.
Use the real words. Words have power, and they matter.
Everyone do my big fat Deltarune quiz I promise it's fun
Big fat Deltarune quiz :3 For my own sanity this quiz will not feature any characters that were in Undertale. Sorry to the Sans fangirls /
A lot of people on twitter wanted me to explain how I draw expressions, so here you go
Unless you're drawing explicit realism, in my opinion, expressions should be exaggerated to some degree. If you aren't doing a 1:1 recreation, the point is to get the FEELING across. Try making the expression you want to draw and feeling how your face pinches and stretches.
Skin doesn't just "disappear" when your face moves it around --- that's where wrinkles come from! Pay attention to where your skin creases when you emote, and use it to your benefit. It's a fine line between overdoing it and underdoing it -- find your own balance.
Ultimately, every expression has a little bit of push and pull, unless your face is completely neutral (and even then, there are still some wrinkles...). Learning to think of expressions as actions and reactions is VERY helpful in learning to draw them without needing a reference, and in learning how to stylize and push expressions based on references as well!
I think a lot of people end up with stiff or unexpressive emotions in their art because they're just trying to recreate a picture instead of understanding WHY and HOW the face is moving --- and it's a tough thing that takes a while to really pick up and learn. Hopefully is helpful in showing a way of thinking about it that can influence your process and approach to emotions!!!
Also, bonus: even without the lines, the planes alone still show a LOT of emotion.
Iâve been slowly working on illustrating my own Tarot deck about black cats.
I have a long way to go, but Iâm nearly done with the major arcana.
Here are some of my favorites:
I set myself a design challenge (as I often do). I wanted to limit the color palette and the brush styles to create a very consistent look.
And since each card focuses on black cats, it forces me to think deeply about symbolism and design to make sure the meaning of each card is clear and each design is unique.
But thereâs still a lot of variety coming through. Itâs not all class, or all silliness - just like cats
I have a forearm tattoo of the cats in this one âď¸
Iâm so happy with how both of these two managed to feel dark, but adorable at the same time.
And then thereâs this one absolute diva:
Most of these used my own feline friends for reference.
There are more but I donât know yet how many I want to share online. If I can actually complete the entire deck I would love to have it made. But I have a ways to go, so for now I continue to chip away, one card at a time.
Hey guys⌠I finished it. All 78 cards.
Much more to come soon!

The mourning of one still alive // Counting the days you've been gone
âI always remember having this fight with a random dude who claimed that âstraight white menâ were the only true innovators. His prime example for this was the computer⌠the computer⌠THE COMPUTER!!! THE COM-PU-TER!!!
Alan Turing - Gay man and âfather of computingâ Wren operating Bombe - The code cracking computers of the 2nd world war were entirely run by women Katherine Johnson - African American NASA mathematician and âHuman computerâ Ada Lovelace - arguably the 1st computer programmerâ
- Sacha Coward
Also Margaret Hamilton - NASA computer scientist who put the first man on the moon - an as-yet-unmatched feet of software engineering, here pictured beside the full source of that computer programme. #myhero
Grace Hopper - the woman that coined the term âbugâ Â
- @robinlayfield
Grace Hopper did more than coin the term âbugâ. She invented the first program linker in the early 1950s, for the UNIVAC I. A program linker translates instructions from one language to another (for example, numerical codes that represent instructions translated to machine code that computers can read), which is the very foundation of how computerâs operate independently. she also pulled a steve rogers and tried to enlist in the military a bunch of times and was denied. then, an exception was made for her when she joined the navy reserves, and she ended up serving for over 40 years (half of which was active duty). she retired from the navy Rear Admiral Grace Hopper. she was born in NYC in 1906. Grace Hopper was a fucking badass.
also computing was typically a job for women (many of whom were black women that made incredible contributions) back in the day, so itâs absolutely fucking wild that straight white men think they are the foundation of computer innovation. men PUSHED women out and took the credit.

Beep boop! I look for accidental haiku posts. Sometimes I mess up.
Adding Wendy Carlos to the list! Trans icon and pioneer of synthesized music!!
Also, just about every computerized device outside of desktops is running ARM chips now. Your phone, your keyboard, your car, your watch. Basically everything.
And ARM was primarily designed by Sophie Wilson, a trans woman.
Also gotta throw on Lynn Conway, whose work brought about VSLI [Very Large Scale Integration] in chip design in the early 80s. Basically all modern microelectronics depends on Conwayâs work, which got logic gates on a single chip up from thousands to millions.
BTW all of this was after IBM fired her in 68 for disclosing she wanted to transition. They apologized in 2020.
Rear Admiral Grace Hopper, who who worked on COBOL, Hedy Lamar, who patented frequency hopping, the underlying principle of WiFi.
Delia Derbyshire over there building a synthesizer from scratch to play the Dr. Who theme on.
The game cartridge? A black guy called Jerry Lawson.
