Yuvan and the Ritual Dimension:
The ritual dimension is the largest of the 7. In this dimension the duel monsters are real living creatures that completely replace every day animals.
And these duel monsters can be transformed into cards with their technology once defeated in a duel or eaten. However it is extremely dangerous and many duelists have lost their lives to these monsters. But the higher ups pay specialized duelists to battle these creatures and bring them back into a card form. Many simply transform the defeated duel monster into cards however duelist can consume the monster and transform them at the same time. Duelists who battle to discover new flavors and tastes of monsters are called Gourmet Duelists.
And the number one Gourmet Duelist is the Ritual dimension Counterpart to Yuya, is Yuvan.
Yuvan is a world renowned Gourmet Duelist often dueling monsters out of pure boredom and curiosity.
Yuvan is rather blunt when talking to others, often saying he dislikes someone directly to their face and gets angry easily. Complied with his short temper, he also has the largest appetite out of the
7. And in his dimension. In duels often fantasizing or reminiscing the taste of duel monsters.
Yuvan's story kicks off when duel monsters start to disappear from his own dimension, the land slowly drying up making nothing able to grow. The Ritual Dimension's life was draining.
He and his personal chef (Goll) head off to the different dimensions to figure out why these monsters are disappearing. Knowing full well that if it keeps up his dimension will soon starve. Yuvan makes an oath to himself that he swears that he won't eat a single bite of food until he restores his dimension back to normal. Going on a hunger strike to push himself further regardless. Yuvan is selfish by all accounts, he only cares about his home dimension and could care less about others. He values his home and only his home, even when faced with the destruction of the Xyz's dimension, he still can only think of his own home. His own people.
But in the final climatic moment, he is eventually defeated by Yuri. And absorbed into him alongside Yugo.
