There are plenty of people who fall victim to wanting to please their toxic partner pushing their body to an extent that doesn’t make them feel good and only to become an object to someone you love. Imagine having a day dedicated to something that’s associated with a dark time in your life. I don’t think it should be celebrated, because there are more victims in the community than people who genuinely enjoy this, and even if it isn’t like that the type of manipulation that people have gone through because of this kink doesn’t make it justifiable.

I wish more people spoke about that side of feedism too, because it’s not skinny people who get manipulated it’s fat people who have grown up in a society being rejected only to find a way to feel accepted but it comes with a price sadly.

Feedism is not only comprised of feeders; it is also a community of feedees. You can not be in a relationship with anyone else and still be a feedee. There are many feedees in healthy relationships with feeders, and also in healthy relationships with non-feedists who still indulge their fantasies. Feedism is not inherently manipulative and anyone who is traumatizing feedees doesn't belong in this community! There are many more feedists in healthy relationships than there are victims! This community is vibrant, and loving, and supportive, and fat liberationist, and radically loving and accepting! If you can't see that then you are looking at all the wrong sources of feedism!

Having a day to celebrate feedism isn't celebrating a dark time where people are manipulated; it's a day to celebrate our bodies, our love of food, and our connection with the community.

We need a day to celebrate this to 1. Enjoy ourselves 2. Show others that feedism isn't manipulative and dark. There are people that are manipulated in any aspect of life. Saying that we didn't deserve a day to celebrate who we are just because there are victims is dismissive and unfair. This day is for the victims too, and those who were manipulated by feeders/nonconsensually involved in the kink: I'm sorry you had that experience and I promise feedism is much better than the worst things you've seen!

Feedists can be either thin once or fat all their lives. It makes no difference. Your pity for fat people is gross. It shows that you don't even view fat people as equal to skinny people, but something pathetic. Feedism shows fat people that they should be loved, respected, and accepted exactly as they are, and it's not because they're fat. That respect and love doesn't come at the cost of sexualization and objectification. It's inherent. You view respect as something transactional that can only be obtained through societal capital, sexual attraction, or conforming to a beauty standard. I hope someday you confront your own beliefs and narrow views, but in the meantime leave the rest of us alone and let us be decadent, hedonistic, happy, emotionally healthy, and FAT!

The entire argument between her and Flowery is that she is refusing to let herself be happy. That she’s the only one holding herself back. She openly expresses euphoria about the possibility of being a princess, but offloads the responsibility of her own autonomy to others. She resigns herself to the role of the Prophecy, and outright laments this position.
