I know it's not great from, like, a Being Functional Or Secure standpoint, but aesthetically I kind of love how websites for banks and universities and government agencies and such just sort of accrete layer upon layer of technologies without ever taking the lower layers out of the stack, and if you need to do something sufficiently obscure eventually you'll break through to some Web 1.0-looking form with a "Last Modified" footer whose timestamp isn't part of this millennium.

Lucretia is the most fun character in the world because she is set up exactly like the guy who has been a villain all along, but instead the big reveal is that she's your best friend. And she loves you and thinks you're hilarious.

i think what made count the rice so awesome (if ominous) is that it harkened back to game changer’s fundamentals which is the only way to win is by learning and the only way to learn is by playing. i love the game changers where they get no instructions and it’s more puzzle based because that’s what season 1 game changer was really founded on.

neverending praise to the editors of count the rice, that is some truly insane shit you pulled off!! incredibly cohesive and easy to follow AND so much fun with the transition cuts!!! like truly incredible story telling out of what must be dozens of hours of footage!!!

immediate top 5 game changer episode btw there’s just so much to love. the slow reveal of the rooms. ify being the first to lose in room 1. catherine mccafferty being the episode’s main character and breakout star. the set design for all of the rooms but ESPECIALLY the spot the difference ones. 25 grants. the friendship(?) between hannah and the bouncer for room 2. demi accidentally plotting his own downfall by saying pop goes the weasel at the same time as hannah. sam trying to fill time while waiting for a player to win their way back up. the pic pong got him. a true fucking delight all the way down and back up again
