Ingredients: 1 cup 2 sticks or 225g unsalted butter, melted. 2 cups 400g light brown sugar, packed. 2 large eggs. 1 tablespoon vanilla extract. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 2 cups 250g all-purpose flour. 1 cup 120g walnuts or pecans, chopped optional.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. Butter a 913-inch 23x33cm baking pan, or line it with parchment paper. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and whisk until well combined. Add salt and flour, and stir until just combined. Fold in chopped nuts if using. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs attached. Allow the blondies to cool completely in the pan before slicing and serving.
