(making a post because people have reached out to friends in my absence)
1) No, he did not search his inbox for âthe emailâ like he told me he would.
2) He said it âsounds like things I have saidâ so to try to figure out if he wrote it or not he used the structure of one sentence from a multi-paragraph response. âwritten for actors or their memorabilityâ is too clunky in the way it is phrased. Not the contents of what was said, not the views discussedâŚ. the structure of one sentence.
3) Sliding Doors. He said he has not seen it so it is not âlikelyâ he would mention it. (Which idk I refer to things I havenât seen all the time because I know the gist of themâŚ)
4) In two separate follow up emails up until 2021, he said he gets hundreds of emails and doesnât keep track of them so he doesnât recall and âis not sureâ if he wrote it or not. Another was âmaybe, maybe not.â
The point isâŚ
1) He did not deny that those are his views. It sounded so much like him that he had to try to pick apart one sentence structure and an analogy used. So I call that a Win.
2) He did not deny it in follow ups years later.
3) He never checked his inbox for hard evidence
Iâm still convinced itâs real, and even if it isnât, he didn't confirm those views werenât his, so keep hoping.
