I have gotten a lot of asks and mentions from Palestine fundraisers this week. Most asks were anonymous like ones from @ mosabsdr, who is confirmed to be a bot. (@ gazavetters' spreadsheet has been updated to say #309 is spam.) The anons are sent even when the account is blocked. The notes of fundraiser posts are filled with thousands of user's @ s.

This is spam bot behavior. A couple of these bot accounts had been convincing enough for @ gazavetters and @ 90-ghost. This means that bots are slipping past the people who are trying to find real fundraisers. Do not harass the vetting blogs for this. My point is that the vetters are humans and cannot flawlessly compete with mass-produced bots.

These bots need to be reported as spam so that they're taken down. There's no telling where the money will end up or who it will hurt. The best case scenario is funding more scams. The worst case scenario is funding human trafficking.

Established charities can stretch each dollar to reach more people. Here's a few charities helping Palestinians:

Palestine Red Crescent Society: the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement in the State of Palestine

Palestine Children's Relief Fund: a registered 501 non-governmental organization (established 1991); Charity Navigator page

Medical Aid for Palestinians: a British charity registered with Fundraising Regulator

Gaza Soup Kitchen: a non-profit grassroots organization that began last year

Care For Gaza: a non-profit that shares updates on Twitter/X

if you've made replies on posts there is now a tab on your blog showing every post youve replied to and your reply.

if this is not what you want, either go to your blog and click comments and disable it from there or just go to your individual blogs setting pages. just change it from blue to grey if you dont want everyone to see your replies AND the post you're replying to

PLEASE BE ADVISED that it is set to disabled for blogs that have not made any replies but it will turn ON if you reply with that blog in the future.! i just tested it with my main, which was greyed out but it turned on the moment i left a test reply

so couple of clarifications. comments are disabled as default for primary blogs that have their likes disabled. they are seemingly enabled for all other blogs that have replied to posts

and for all of yall that are still figuring it out or aren't getting the support you deserve:

Sex is not essential. You can live without it. Full stop.

Not having sex isn't shameful or a sign of failure. It also doesn't make anyone boring.

You are not entitled to having sex with anybody and nobody is entitled to having sex with you.

Sex is not what makes someone an adult.

Nobody's worth is defined by how much sex they have or don't have.

Sex is not equally important to everyone.

You can have fulfilling and happy relationships without sex.

You should only have sex on your own terms, not because you feel like you owe it to someone, or because you feel like you'd be incomplete without it.

Know your boundaries around sex and be firm about them. Know how to respect other people's boundaries.

The previous point also applies when it comes to discussing sex. If someone doesn't wanna talk about it or hear about it you have to back down.

It happened in broad daylight. It was telegraphed ahead of time; TERFs were very clear they wanted trans men removed from public life entirely. Yet during the entire lead-up, and even since then, people have erased transmascs completely from the conversation, saying they weren't in danger like transfemmes are, and in fact alleging that transmascs enjoyed a measure of protection from TERFs, who allegedly just see them as confused little girls they want to protect.

And while people were busy being useful idiots and spreading TERF propaganda for them, while people were busy actively denying the threat to transmascs, TERFs made it so transmascs can be excluded from any public bathroom in the UK.
