It doesn’t have to be strictly Persona 5 but I think it might be a good idea for whenever I go back to school since I’ll be working a minimum wage job once I move to Athens. Right now, my current fandoms are:

I’m going be setting a paypal, making some rules, and what not about writing commissions. Work is cutting my hours and I really need to make some money before I go back to school which is August 24th. 

And heck, if I enjoy it I may even make this like… a part time sort of thing. Since once I moved to campus, I’ll probably be working a minimum wage job! My job right now is 9.75 an hour. Ohio’s minimum wage is 8.15 an hour. 

For those who don’t know what red string of fate is: a red thread is connected to those who are bound to meet and destined to be soulmates regardless of time, place, and circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle but will never break. Usually it’s tied around the person’s pinky finger or wrist.

Hanzo:

Hanzo never attempted to find his soulmate; he never bothered to follow it since he thought he would be in some sort of arranged marriage.

Just thought it was a nuisance and ignored it for the majority of his life, gave up on the idea of finding his perfect soulmate in such a big world.

Fast forward years later and Hanzo attempted to cut it off after killing Genji and leaving the Shimada Clan. The red string is invincible. 

He just didn’t want his soulmate to be disappointed in him and came to the belief that he would hurt them, just how he hurt and killed Genji.

However, you were searching for Hanzo for years, excited to meet your destined soulmate! The two of you met by accident in a busy street.

The red string will glow whenever the soulmates are close by. So, you attempted to find him while Hanzo avoided confrontation.

However, you catch up to him and manage to tap his shoulders; Hanzo turns around and sees one of the most beautiful people in his life. 

Hanzo’s slightly scared and is in a rush to the Shimada Castle to honor his late brother. He apologizes and says he has somewhere to be.

However, you manage to convince him to exchange contact information before Hanzo heads off. Your heart is pounding.

Later that evening, Hanzo is confronted by Genji and he forgives him for leaving him to die. Hanzo decides to time to forgive himself as well.

When he heads home for the evening, Hanzo is about to call you but you beat him to calling him first and it’s hard to get the man to open up.

The two of you end up talking until two in the morning, getting to know each other before Hanzo ask if you’re interested in a date.

Soldier 76:

When he was a young teen, he was excited about the prospect of meeting his soulmate one day, especially when he joined the military.

He wanted a simple life with his soulmate and enjoy working on the farm but it changed whenever he joined the soldier enhancement program. 

Fast forward years later and he’s now a commander in Overwatch and has to deal with the press and the media try to make him look bad.

So, Jack begin to think less and less about finding his soulmate and was more focus on dealing with Overwatch and their operations. 

Then the explosion at the Swiss HQ happened and he sort of lost sight in having some sort of simple life, growing more and more cynical.

He gave up on his dreams of finding his soulmate and created the identity of Soldier 76, now wanting answers about why Overwatch collapsed. 

When people asked about the red thread tied to his pinky finger he would brush it off (it’s suppose to disappear when one has found their soulmate).

Sometimes, he would have fantasies and wonder what his soulmate might have been like if he had met them under the right circumstances.

So, Jack is surprised when his red string starts to glow to indicate you were near, having completely forget about it being on his finger.

He follows his red string toward a local bar. Out of curiosity? Out of interest? Or maybe, perhaps out of a spark from hope.

When he opens the door to the bar, you were about to head out and look for your soulmate… and almost bump right into him.

Jack’s once thought dead dreams may actually be turning into reality; he offers to buy you one more drink for the evening. 

McCree:

When Jesse was a young boy, he always dreamed of meeting his soulmate! He was excited to see the red string glow one day.

McCree would often daydream about what his soulmate would be like, what sort of person they were, and hoped they liked westerns.

But one thing came to another and before he was in his twenties, he already dug himself a hole within the Deadlock Gang. 

He began to doubt he would ever meet his soulmate especially when he and his fellow associates were busted in a sting operation.

However, Reyes gave Jesse a chance to join Blackwatch and the young man saw this as his second chance at life and a way to redeem himself

And he couldn’t find you if he was locked up now could he? He gladly took the opportunity; he can start over again and still find his soulmate.

But as years went by, Blackwatch was exposed and went through periods of suspension. McCree left before the fall of Overwatch happened. 

Jesse decided to become a bounty hunter and travel across the globe, not only to serve his own justice, but in hopes to finding his soulmate. 

He would meet you whenever he decided to head back to his hometown; as soon as he got of the train, his red string began to glow.

McCree’s heart pounded cause he’s been dreaming of this moment since he was a kid. He followed his strong, pushing through the crowd. 

You would literally fall into his arms as you tripped over the strangers’ feet; luckily the cowboy caught you before you hit the ground.
