You’re sprawled across your desk, med notes everywhere, hair a mess, and totally failing at staying awake after a long day of classes and hospital rounds. Suga just strolls in like he owns the place, holding a thermos of coffee and a granola bar. “Hey, sleepyhead,” he says, and you roll your eyes because of course he knows exactly how tired you are. He plops down beside you anyway, nudging your shoulder and grinning like it’s the funniest thing in the world that you’re pretending to be productive.

“You’re working too hard again,” he teases, but there’s this soft worry in his eyes that makes your heart stutter. You try to protest, but he just ruffles your hair and slides the coffee closer. “Drink it. Now. You need it,” he says firmly, and you can’t help but giggle because…of course he’s right.

Then he steals a post-it from your desk and scribbles something cheesy—“Best girl ever. Don’t forget it.”—and sticks it on your notebook. You groan, but the corners of your mouth twitch because, okay, it’s cute. And even though you’re exhausted from med school, sitting there with him—laughing, sipping coffee, letting him fuss over you like it’s his favorite job—it feels like the world is soft and safe, just for you.

And honestly…that’s exactly what it’d be like, everyday chaos, everyday sweetness, him being totally whipped for you, and you secretly loving every second.

Your demon slayer match is...Giyuu!

Now I hesitated between Giyuu and Rengoku. So I flipped a coin and it landed on Giyuu. No, for real both would fit you quite well. Fun fact, when I went and did the usual process of elimination I was like damn…not a lot of adult datable men in KnY. There’s only Giyuu, Rengoku, Tengen, Yushiro (if you stretch it), Akaza, Sanemi (if you stretch it). And it hurts cuz my fav ain’t part of them. Oups I forgot myself, back to the match. The reason I didn’t pick Rengoku is you two would both forget to remind the other of something, while with Giyuu he’d remind you and keep it all more organized.

You and Giyuu got closer due to being partnered up a lot on missions. I mean you’re a ray of sunshine who gets along very well with Shinobu (you’re her student) and he’s the local pessimist. At first, it was awkward; he wasn’t used to someone being so openly kind without wanting something in return. You’d chatter about plants, stories, or even silly little facts while walking, and he’d just… quietly listen. With time he’d answer and you two would even have long debates! These moments are fun and taught you that, Giyuu is nice to be around behind his façade.

The first time he realized he liked having you around was after a rough mission. You’d gone out of your way to patch him up before tending to yourself, and also scolding him. He was surprised that someone put him first and even tried to scold you over how you should think of yourself in these dangerous missions. Well you two argued and in the end he had to pay for a week worth of your favorite snack.

Over time, he started to linger more around you. And he looked forward to being partnered up with you…which didn’t escape the sight of the other hashira. They teased him a lot over it. With Rengoku encouraging him to ask you out, saying that life was too short for regrets while eating a donut (I do not apologize).

Asking you out… wasn’t graceful. He’s not a man of words, and he stressed over it for days. He asked his old teacher for advices after the later noticed him being distracted during a visit. Don’t ask how he got Kagaya to send you two to a ‘mission’ where a summer festival was being held. But hey, at least he asked you out under the fireworks.

Giyuu is the silent but attentive boyfriend. Strangers might think he doesn’t show his love but in reality he’s smitten. Why else would he go through so much trouble to bring you those foreign books you like so much? Or that one thing you mentioned in passing? Yeah he’s attentive to your needs and moods. That’s how he shows his love, by making your life easier. I can imagine him putting sticky notes all around to remind you of things. Definitely a romantic in secret, you once caught him reading romance and taking notes lmao. Please don’t tell shinobu she won’t let it live it down. None of the hashira would, even if they’re low key happy he’s finally getting out of his pessimist mood. You’re quite the good influence.

Date ideas with Giyuu? They’re quite simple to be honest, but they happen often. He’ll take you on walks near rivers or lakes (water Hashira, what did you expect?), where you can sit together and watch the ripples while cuddling/chatting. He’d also look out for festivals in places where you two go on a mission. Yes he treasures every picture taken no matter how much he paid for them. Hell, I can see him buying a camera. And they’re not easy to find/buy. Just so he can immortalize the moments in case something happened to either of you. Yeah you scolded him when he told you this. Let’s not think of fatalities so soon (If I wanted it to be angst, I would’ve given you the donut). To apologize, he showed up with snacks from three towns over just because you mentioned craving them.

✦ first of all i believe you guys would’ve known each other since you were kids which made opening up to him very easy as you’d go through the apocalypse together! because of this he knows you so well and he sort of adopted your humor in being sarcastic and it’s his favorite way to mess around with you and other people to make you laugh. it’d annoy the HELL out of some of the group but it’s hilarious to you guys.

✦ i definitely see him as a big listener which is why you being such a talker is great for your guys’ relationship, also because he’s aware of your adhd and finds it’s fun to hop from different topics but also watch you get distracted. it helps distract him from the tragedies constantly going on around him. you basically make it all easier just being yourself which is great.

✦ he ALSO takes note of things that bother you and tends to avoid doing those things. to be more specific he noted how you hate loud noises and he started to use his gun less around you when out in the woods and resorted to just knives which he found to be smarter strategically anyway but he mostly did it for you.

✦ you guys definitely hang out in the woods consistently. no matter where you are, at the farm you hung out in the woods when you weren’t supposed to, even at alexandria.

✦ i think your only arguments that could occur with the two of you would regard safety, i think you’re both relatively protective people and i think there might be some runs where carl might not think are safe for you to go on and it might come off wrong.

✦ with that being said he’d definitely make up for it with a date and a super sweet apology. he’d admit he was wrong and do his best to make it up to you!

✦i think one of his favorite random things about you would be your music taste, he thinks it’s cool how theres variety to it, its funny how you can enjoy both metal AND country. the contrast always makes him giggle.

How the two of you first met...

Technically, both of you attended the Academy, but never crossed paths. While studying the effects of Shimmer, you're stripped of your title as a doctor and left without a job. Even if you were trying to find a treatment for the addiction, the Council did not believe you. Nobody is willing to work with you until one day you find the co-inventor of Hextech, Viktor, at your apartment door with an offer- if you offer to help find a cure for his illness, he'll give you all the secrets to Shimmer. What could go wrong? (Spoiler: A LOT)

When the feels start...

At first, the only feeling between the two of you is contempt. Viktor is blunt, ignores everyone most of the time in favor of his work, and has a high distrust of everyone, especially you. You're from a very rich family in Piltover, after all, and with the elegant fashion you wear to the lab, to the constant look of distaste on your face, he assumes you're like every other Topsider. All you see is a lowlife from the Undercity who doesn't deserve to be where he is. Not to mention your endless questions. You're intelligent, capable, and have too many good ideas, annoyingly so. Admittedly, ever since Jayce started spending all his time with Mel, things have been a bit lonely in the lab...and there's a warmth he won't admit to with having you work in your corner as he works in his own every night. The silence is starting to mean more than he'll admit - always there, always steady and so much more to him than a lab partner

The confession...On the horrible night of Jinx's attack, you're there beside him, left unharmed as you see his dying body. Realizing a world without him is a world you cannot live in, you agree to Jayce's idea to revive him despite knowing Viktor's wishes. After he leaves without a trace, you soon find Viktor changed within the heart of the Undercity, running a cult as a healer and seeing your dream realized - the cure for Shimmer. Yet, Viktor's changed, and he seems a shell of his old self, obsessed with the glorious evolution of his. With what little bit of humanity is left in him, he vows to belong to you. Soon, you realize there was more between the two of you, even if at the time you didn't wish to admit it. Although it feels so wrong, you want to see him thrive along with your shared dream. The two of you stay in the commune, healing together, willing to burn the world down for another. Once Ambessa and her troops take Viktor away, nothing, and you mean nothing, will keep you from tearing everything down to get him back

After the events of the battle of Piltover, somehow the two of you find a way to another dimension along with Jayce, where you can begin to build a world all your own

Logic is basically what Viktor runs on besides a lack of sleep and the two of you would work out problems together with analysis, not drama

-Picnic in the gardens- Oftentimes, the two of you eat together alone on the gardens of the commune, surrounded by peace and the evidence of your dreams merging together. After the battle, you find yourself planting a new garden together in your new home in another world
