@gamblins || for overlord!husk before he loses his soul :>
The casino was bustling when Alastor walked in the door—it always was, and though he didn’t admit it, Alastor enjoyed that, enjoyed the familiarity that came along with it. A small hush fell over the patrons nearest the door as they saw him, but there was too much going on here for the entire place to go quiet even at his own arrival, and that was fine with him. He didn’t need to make a big entrance; that wasn’t what he was here for, after all.
Instead he paused, hands coming up to adjust his coat lapels slightly, almost more out of habit, as he surveyed the room. Searched the room, seeking out the familiar shape of the overlord he mostly called a friend. As much as he could have friends, of course, but no one else needed to worry about that. When he saw him, saw his wings, at least, ears twitching slightly as he became keenly aware of the gambling overlord’s laughter through the crowd, his smile spread into a full grin. It was full of teeth, but somehow not that menacing. Not unnecessarily so, at least.
With long steps, footfalls muted on the rug beneath, he strode further into the bar, and people had enough good sense to part ways for him as he came through.
“Ah, Husker!” he announced his presence with joviality as he swept up beside him, his cane coming down on the ground beside the other overlord as he leaned over, both hands planted on the microphone as he got a look at what was in front of Husk and how his game was going, before his eyes darted towards him, his grin turning mischievous, conspiratorial, but this was how he was with Husk. “Already in the thick of it, I see. Any good souls on the table tonight?”
