his lips press together tightly at the command, eyebrows knitting together in a frown as he eyed his phone in val's hand before the words tumbled out, . ❛ c'mon val, you know how he get's about shit like this. i know he fucked up, but dontcha think he should at least know where i am? ❜ all four hands gesture aimlessly as he spoke, desperate, restless, as though words alone weren’t enough to carry the weight of his worry for tyco. ❛ i mean, he's your friend too ain't he? and it ain't like i'm gonna go round, just give him a call y'know? just to check he's ok. ❜
the silence was suffocating, and angel’s words began to tangle over themselves, spilling faster just to fill the void. his laugh, brittle and nervous, broke the air. ❛ i mean i can just see his shakespeare lovin' ass trying to pull a romeo or some shit, y'know? ❜
No.
No, when Angel was with Valentino, Tyco didn't get to know where he was. The miserable theatre demon doesn't own Angel-- he wasn't smart enough to seal that deal when he had the chance. Now someone else is knocking on that door, someone whose media and influence grows stronger by the day... someone who's very existence causes Tyco's own influence to dwindle more and more with each film.
Valentino's hand tightens around Angel's phone as the spider becomes more frantic; aimless gestures, a desperate, restless tone, wide and frantic eyes. As far as Valentino was concerned, Tyco's usefulness had dried up. Were it up to him, he'd find a way to kill him for good.
Then Angel wouldn't have a choice but to come to him.
... But Vox insisted that the theatre demon still had use, so Valentino bit his tongue and played nice.
The overlord's eyes narrow. Angel doesn't want to see Tyco. He doesn't want to leave Valentino and go to Tyco... he just wants to hear from him... Ugh, and Angel's right; if that feather-hatted twink doesn't hear from Angel, he's going to come here... and he probably will stand outside of Angel's window and play that stupid little bent guitar.
Fine. He'll take this as an opportunity to show Angel how gracious he can be. "If you really think he's so possessive that he can't spend one night without knowing your every move..." he begins, the annoyance in his eyes fading as a small smirk replaces his sour expression.
"... Then here," he says, offering the phone back.
Valentino wants Angel. All of Angel. Right now, he has a part of him... but he can't take the rest until he tears Angel away from that theatrical piece of shit.
