Uses them for whatever experiment he gets assigned too or really just to power mundane things like a warm bath or lighting up a room to read in using their soul instead of the sane thing of a common soul gem or even his own abilities.

The whole necromancy and daedric research made him frustrated, angry even. I mean doing torturous work all day 6 days a week is gonna make you an alcoholic too. Fun fact: his sentient demora lord is named chial, he hangs around the house when mithril permits it. usually just knitting stuff for himself or cooking for him. Mithril doesn't care what he does as long as he isn't loud or interrupts his work, treats him like an assistant as he feels he is more human than the actual humans that are surrounding him/working with.

THEEEE CONFRONTATION FIT this is one of my favorite outfits she will get for the entire comic. Almalexia does her up before they confront Helseth.

every aspect of this outfit is intended to make her look like an extravagant guard dog. moon and star and wraithguard act as a show of political power, the spear disrupts Helseth's perception of her as an unarmed fighter, her hair is cut in a way that makes it look even more wild, her outfit is a direct compliment to Almalexia's (who I'll probably do later), and the hickeys. the hickeys. Almalexia looking her over and deciding she wants to leave physical marks to assert her ownership over Meri is a moment that I just THINK ABOUT sometimes.
