All this bullshit about how it's like trans men see themselves as a different gender than cis men when, in fact, a lot of them do. And that's okay. Many things can be true at once: trans men are men, a lot of trans men see themselves as a unique kind of men, and many trans men do not want to be seen or treated as cis.

There is nothing accidental about transphobia. Every facet of it is intentional. Trans men are not bystanders in the genocide against all trans people. Trans men aren't accidental targets of trans genocide.

Hey look at me. I've been on T for almost 8 years. Same amount of time with my name and sex marker corrected. And I am misgendered about 50% of the time. I have beard growing on my face. I am still treated like a hysterical woman while being called my male name on doctors. My parents still misgender me and deadname me. I still have been coerced into sex without a condom and have someone with a dick to treat me like a woman - more than once - during sex, and even with me saying I was a top only, complaining that ny hole is better to fuck. So no it's not only those "pre-T boys"

But people took the "exempt" part too seriously, and here we are now. Fakeclaiming people's experiences with transmisogyny.

We're supposed to take seriously the critiques of a woman who is coming up with new derogatory terms for transmascs in relation to their genitals.

and well, yeah. filmed sexual interactions (pornography) are not a cause of violence. they are a vehicle some use for violence. like how people may use a kitchen knife as a weapon against an intruder, or how a domestic abuser may use reckless driving (the car) as a way to threaten and terrorize his victims. in order to actually address predatory and exploitative industries and organizations, we need to address the culture around sex. that involves separating the idea of pornography itself from the sex industry and oppressive gender roles. we need to be able to conceptualize healthy expression of sexuality or else we will never get anywhere. and if that is what this author was getting at, yeah, i wouldn't want to be harassed and demonized in my own community either. and i don't think it's unreasonable to say it's transphobic to demean transmasc bodies under literally any circumstance ever, no matter if you're right about someone being wrong or not.

what good is becoming a saint and being celebrated for your GIRL POWER hundreds of years posthumously if during your life you are abused and murdered by the state in one of the most gruesome and painful ways imaginable because you dressed as a man? I wouldnt call that society "rewarding masculinity" in people who are afab.

I hate to break it to you, but those aren't labels you pick and choose, they describe your relationship to the sex assigned to you at birth. Even if you were assigned one and now identify with neither, you are still trans
