Some trans men do identify as a completely different type of man than cis men btw. To reduce the trans man experience to expecting trans men to want to be seen and treated as exactly like cis men is cis-centrism and transmed rhetoric.
All this bullshit about how it's like trans men see themselves as a different gender than cis men when, in fact, a lot of them do. And that's okay. Many things can be true at once: trans men are men, a lot of trans men see themselves as a unique kind of men, and many trans men do not want to be seen or treated as cis.
