many women are excited to get old and weird, but i have great news that it's fully possible to become weird now, before you get old. just imagine the heights of weirdness you will be able to reach in fifty years if you get started now. that's what I think

gender non conforming people being mocked for their whole lives for not looking like their birth gender until they finally say ok yeah youre right im not only for everyone to act shocked. neurodivergent people being mocked for their whole lives for acting outside the norm until they finally say yeah i am actually diagnosed in a way that makes me act outside the norm only for everyone to act shocked

most “protect the children” campaigns come with the implication that what’s best for children is 1950s white christian nuclear families and rigid adherence to the status quo, and having been a children I can definitively say that is very very incorrect

gender essentialism is soooo funny bc it's like "this is what women are like" and you're like "I've met women and many of them, if not the majority, have not been like that" and it's like "well women SHOULD be like that" and you're like "why should women be like that" and its like "because that's what women are like"
