Steve is in the closet because of a past trauma, and this first scratch became a chasm that swallowed their relationship.<br />Steve went alone, Tony relied even more on Pepper, and the couple later officially adopted Peter Parker.<br />Then Thanos happened, and Tony once again sacrificed himself for the whole universe.<br />Somehow, the other heroes managed to save the Iron Man's life, but he entered a sort of vegetative state. Steve took care of his lover, hiding from everyone, including Tony’s own family.<br />But in the end all the lies went out, and Steve and Pepper had to face a choice: making a truce on their mutual love for Tony, or continue the path towards self-destruction?<br />Against every odds (more than 1 over 14 million one may say), and although the scars of the past events won’t disappear, they manage to reach their happy ending.</p><p>[UPDATE ON SATURDAY]</p>
