Irondad/Spiderson headcanon/sorta AU where Pepper finds a letter dated back to 2017, pre-blip, where Tony had written in support of a boy named Peter Parker to be accepted at MIT when the time came for him to apply. The letter talked about how intelligent and determined the boy was, and how much Tony saw some of himself in the kid. It said he would excel within the school and had unrivaled potential to become not only a renowned scientist within his field of choice, but the next brain behind Stark Industries.
Now, Pepper is scratching her head trying to remember a kid named Peter Parker. Had Tony never mentioned this kid to her before? She really couldn’t figure out who the kid was. But Tony clearly trusted him and believed in him, so Pepper needed to find out who he was.
