To write, or not to write?

I love all the taz graduation boys but Sir Fitzroy Maplecourt just— he’s so terrible and I absolutely and utterly adore him.

I drew the new boys for TAZ Graduation. (I’m SO FUCKING excited for this oh my GOD)  A firbolg boy without himbo elf and sneak fish obscuring him under the cut:

Argo is in front of him, on the left. He is a light blue water genasi, with scales all over his body and gill-like ears. He has long blue hair pulled back in a ponytail and a handlebar mustache. He is dressed, like Clint described, pretty rogue-ish, but in a pirate way. He’s wearing a black tank top, brown puffy pants with a red belt, dark brown boots, a blue ascot, and black gloves.

Sir Fitzroy Maplecourt is next to him. He is a light skinned half elf with short blond hair and glasses. He looks disgruntled. He is fairly muscular, and wearing a red tunic that’s been loosely tied to show off his chest. He is also wearing blue pants and brown boots.

Tumblr is an even playing field compared to websites like Twitter, Instagram, and Youtube. Which means its up to us, the users, to spread the word of people we enjoy-- the way the internet should be.

When creators say they’re discouraged from creating because their posts get no notes, they don’t mean they will refuse to create unless their last edit reaches at least 1k notes. What they mean is that the effort they’re putting into creating something purely out of inspiration and the need to share their passion and creativity with the world is being consumed and forgotten, just like it is on Instagram. Tumblr has changed from having an even reblog-like ratio, or even twice as many reblogs as likes, to being another social media where users consume content instead of sharing it.

We’re not trying to force you to reblog everything or want you to fill your blog with things you don’t like. But Tumblr is built on reblogs and likes. This is not a fast-food company where you can order something, consume it, and then throw it away. The very base of this website is sharing, as opposed to Instagram. Here, likes don’t give our posts exposure, reblogs do.

Women with big laughs, big smiles, big voices, big bodies, and even bigger personalities to match. Women that don’t care if they take up space with long strides and sit with their legs miles apart.

Then there are two full body drawings. In the first his hands are resting on the sides, idle. He has a white shirt and Big pink gloves. And a pink apron hung over his dark pants. In the next picture he has a pink null-suit on, the yellow globe pressing his cowlick to his head. He has his hands up defensively.

Also to be explicitly clear about this game (which I am aware I'll have to say multiple times more) this game does NOT use the negative stereotypes by race or cultural references/comparisons (hooked noses, greedy, etc) as humor or for character depictions with Goblins. They are small, green fantasy creatures generally looked at like monsters and the focus is that social understanding as well as treating like people experiencing grief that you can help them work through as you get to know them. That can be done romantically, platonically, or anywhere in between.

Yes there's deeper tones of this game about perception and your first impression (written and designed by a team that has comprised of POC, Trans, NB, people of different religious backgrounds including Jewish) but I also wanted to make something meaningful that was fun

I’ve wanted for a long time a game that felt right for me about changing perceptions, especially if someone looks at you like you’re a monster <3 Even if they call you that. You are beyond that, even if people already have those perceptions.
