me trying to convince myself that the whole spectrum of human emotions is a good and necessary thing to feel even if its not comfortable while im actively experiencing emotions that make me feel like my bones are being dissolved in acid

the tumblr report and appeal systems really are busted beyond all comprehension. I reported someone for advertising themselves as an 'anorexia coach', which is and has always been extremely bannable, and immediately got an automated response saying it didn't violate ToS. I sent another report hoping to trigger a human review, and got another instant 'this blog doesn't violate ToS'. I went through the process to appeal a moderation decision, and a couple of hours later received at exactly the same time: 1. a message informing me it wasn't a valid appeal because I had never filed a report about that blog in the first instance (??) 2. a message in reply to one of my rejected reports thanking me and informing me the blog had been taken down.
