"you wanna—?" oh. well, that's... her cheeks go pink. still, she's sure that he'll get tired of her, worried that she'll let herself get comfortable and then have the rug pulled out from under her feet. maybe she should have expected this, but she still feels embarrassed and fluttery and stupid all at once. the way vic’s flush with color is adorable and barry can’t help but lean forward and press his lips to her forehead. “of course i’m sure.” it’s been on his mind for a while now, among other things, but he’s trying to take things one step at a time with vic and hopefully this suggestion doesn’t freak her out too much. “it’d be much better to just come home to each other, don’t you think?” this way neither of them have to wait for any free time to be together. whenever they’re at home will be their time. the idea seems simple and obvious enough for barry, but he worries that maybe vic isn’t so sure. “i’d cook for you more often,” he adds, deciding to entice her a little more.

oh, barry will make sure they have time for breakfast. if it was up to him, he’d make time with vic last all day, everyday, but that would really wear him out. unfortunately, extended use of his powers just isn’t a realistic option. “then we’d need more opportunities for breakfast,” he teases, leaning into her touch. it doesn’t seem like vic’s taking the hint very well, so he’ll have to come out and say it. “what if we got a place together?” he suggests, knowing neither of their own homes aren’t big enough for two people and four cats. “like, to actually live together.” can’t be too clear and direct considering vic’s total obliviousness.
