Resting her daughter in her lap, Saskia pressed the video call button over Alexei's name. She knew she had maybe twenty minutes before Rosie needed to go for a nap and she figured, why not annoy her best friend while he's travelling? Plus, her daughter actually seemed to miss him, even if they hadn't spent too much time together. "Hey hey hey! How's Rosie's favourite person? Thank you for the merch, by the way, I would show you her wearing it but she threw up on it this morning."

Feeling like shit and still having to work should legally be classified as abuse, at least according to Saskia. She understood that she had obligations, but said obligations didn't understand that her body hated her and she liked to party.

Groaning as she pulled her legs into her chest, pulling the hood of her jacket over her head. She could tell someone was stood near her, but didn't bother moving to see who it was. "Go away," she groaned. "I can say it in three more languages if English doesn't work."

Saskia pressed her lips together as an eyebrow raised slightly, taking a long drink of her water. "You suck at it, you know that?" She sighed. "I know you're only trying to help but you really don't need to. I'm the adult here, you're just a kid." She pulled out a cigarette and lit it, fully knowing she wasn't actually allowed to smoke but she needed one. "You and Alan eat yet? Did you need some burgers or something?"

Saskia knew drinking and skating didn't mix but she wanted something to take the edge off, and she wasn't even drunk. It was one beer! And maybe a shot or two, but she wasn't drunk or barely even buzzed. She just wanted to have fun.

After tying her laces, she nudged Lydia's arm. "If I fall on my ass, you're allowed to laugh. Just don't help me up, I'll get back up eventually."

Cooking and baking really weren't one of Saskia's strong suits, she always found them stressful and confusing. But it didn't stop her from at least trying to cook, even if every attempt made the smoke alarm go off. Groaning as it went off once again while trying bake cookies, she opened every window in her apartment to try to air it out.

Admitting defeat, she sank down to the floor of her kitchen. "I burned the cookies again!" she called out to Simeon. "I'm starting to think I'm cursed."

The club wasn't exactly where Saskia wanted to spend most of her evening especially for once, she didn't feel like getting drunk or trying to get attention. She just didn't want to be alone in her apartment, she needed noise.

Ordering a drink, she glanced around the bar. "Did you want a drink?" She asked the only person at the bar, almost yelling over the music.

Saskia sighed heavily as she kept filling up the salt shaker, sending up quick glances towards David as she sat on the counter. She knew she didn't actually need to keep working at the diner but it was something she felt like she had to do, keep some sense of normality after becoming a vampire. "I don't feel like it's my life anymore, I know I might've chosen for you to turn me and I chose to become a full vampire but to not have those choices right from the start? It's like my life isn't in my control anymore, I don't even know if that makes sense."

She shook her head as she pushed the full shaker away before pulling the empty one towards her and started filling it up. "I can't live my life how I wanted to; I wanted a family, I wanted kids, the white picket fence, the whole thing. I can't have that anymore."
