He didn’t know who, or where, so he could only hope it wasn’t in his, bucks their house. Eddie didn’t know why it set his heart on fire or why he got so mad he wanted to punch the wall when Buck hung up 30 minutes later.

He told himself it was because he didn’t like that Buck was getting laid in the room that used to be his but a voice that sounded suspiciously like Hen said differently.

He hated El Paso. Too many memories. Too many people thinking his son isn’t his.

El Paso held strange memories of a boy sitting in confession. Of a boy with his best friend, not quite knowing if he was supposed to love her or be in love with her.

He told himself it could be the same thing.

He doesn’t know if it was.

He always thought Shannon was beautiful. He always wanted to be around her. But when she kissed him for the first time, he didn’t know if that’s what they were supposed to be doing. She told him after that she wanted him to be her boyfriend, Eddie didn’t know what to do but knew he wanted Shannon to stay around so he said yes.

Also knew that sex was a thing boyfriends and girlfriends did so when Shannon wanted to be didn’t say no.

And when she said she was pregnant 2 years after their first kiss he did what he was taught to do. He was a good man. He married her. He provided. He’ll always regret how he provided. But he did it.

When she asked for a divorce the first person Eddie thought of was Buck. He doesn’t know what it means.

𝚆𝙷𝙰𝚃  𝚃𝙷𝙴𝚈  𝚃𝙷𝙸𝙽𝙺  𝙰𝙱𝙾𝚄𝚃  𝙱𝙴𝙵𝙾𝚁𝙴  𝙱𝙴𝙳:   if it's on the tulpar, it's fearing jimmy entering her room & the lack of locks the bedrooms have. if it's on earth, probably thinking about the day ahead of her.

𝚆𝙷𝙰𝚃  𝚃𝙷𝙴𝚈  𝚃𝙷𝙸𝙽𝙺  𝚃𝙷𝙴𝙸𝚁  𝙱𝙴𝚂𝚃  𝚀𝚄𝙰𝙻𝙸𝚃𝚈  𝙸𝚂:   her compassion and caring nature. anya takes pride in the fact that she cares for others and wants to nurture them.

𝙻𝙰𝚈𝙴𝚁 𝟶𝟶𝟺:   𝚆𝙷𝙰𝚃'𝚂 𝙱𝙴𝚃𝚃𝙴𝚁?

𝚂𝙸𝙽𝙶𝙻𝙴  𝙾𝚁  𝙶𝚁𝙾𝚄𝙿  𝙳𝙰𝚃𝙴𝚂:   single. anya isn't much of a social person as it is, so going on a one-on-one date is ideal for her. of course, if she has the friends or colleagues to go on a group date, she likely won't turn it down unless the company she's in is absolutely rancid.

𝚃𝙾  𝙱𝙴  𝙻𝙾𝚅𝙴𝙳  𝙾𝚁  𝚁𝙴𝚂𝙿𝙴𝙲𝚃𝙴𝙳:  respected. she doesn't need the people around her to be her biggest fans, but she wants to be treated with humanity. of course, if it's regarding a romantic partner, then love absolutely takes precedent.

𝙱𝙴𝙰𝚄𝚃𝚈  𝙾𝚁  𝙱𝚁𝙰𝙸𝙽𝚂:   brains. anya values what's on the inside more. of course, she isn't blind to a gorgeous woman, but she values intelligence and thoughtfulness over all else.

𝙳𝙾𝙶𝚂  𝙾𝚁  𝙲𝙰𝚃𝚂:   she likes both, but cats would be more in tune with her pace.

𝙻𝙰𝚈𝙴𝚁 𝟶𝟶𝟻:   𝙳𝙾 𝚃𝙷𝙴𝚈...

𝙻𝙸𝙴:   if it's to placate others or to glide her way through a frightening situation, yes. it often goes hand in hand with a fawn response. however, anya is genuinely the type of person to value the truth, even when telling it is incredibly costly...

𝙱𝙴𝙻𝙸𝙴𝚅𝙴  𝙸𝙽  𝚃𝙷𝙴𝙼𝚂𝙴𝙻𝚅𝙴𝚂:   well, she eight rejections from medical school and still wants to keep trying to get in, so yes! anya believes in herself where it counts.

𝚆𝙰𝙽𝚃  𝚂𝙾𝙼𝙴𝙾𝙽𝙴:   most certainly, if that someone can be patient and kind to her.

𝙻𝙰𝚈𝙴𝚁 𝟶𝟶𝟼:   𝙷𝙰𝚅𝙴 𝚃𝙷𝙴𝚈 𝙴𝚅𝙴𝚁...

𝙱𝙴𝙴𝙽  𝙾𝙽  𝚂𝚃𝙰𝙶𝙴:   in elementary or highschool, probably, for graduation or some play that may have been obligatory. not in recent years as an adult, however.

𝙳𝙾𝙽𝙴  𝙳𝚁𝚄𝙶𝚂:   she's taken edibles before, as a teenager. she doesn't regularly use substances, however, and avoids alcohol almost entirely.

𝙲𝙷𝙰𝙽𝙶𝙴𝙳  𝚆𝙷𝙾  𝚃𝙷𝙴𝚈  𝚆𝙴𝚁𝙴  𝚃𝙾  𝙵𝙸𝚃  𝙸𝙽:   anya has put a lot of effort into perfecting her english and minimizing her russian accent in order to blend in better with her peers who speak english as a first language.
