I don't know how the manga/manhwa industry work,

But why is there an awful lot of hiatuses for health reasons ???

The manwha and manga industry (and anime industry) are infamous for working their creators to death in several cases. (A lot die young for many reasons)

Especially in countries that have a work culture that's already unhealthy. (Overtime is expected. You don't question the boss. They do not believe in delays)

Editors are God, and many creators give up sleep and sacrifice their health to meet deadlines. Crunch is killer. Even with teams, many creators struggle because of the demand. And editors can demand last minute changes that can leave people scrambling.

Hell, a couple years ago MAPPA was under fire because their animators were getting animation out the morning of the episode airing.
