I think what my favorite game to play with ppl occasionally is be like “if you could instantly learn any 5 languages on top of what you know already, which languages would you pick” because for some people, it changes over time, especially if they’re younger or their tastes in media change frequently. For others, usually older people or those who tend to have more stagnant preferences, it generally stays the same, frequently associating directly to locations they’d want to visit later. (for example, one of my languages I’d pick is French, because I took 2 years of French classes and retained nothing except the difference between Bonjour and Bonsoir. My mom picked French because she wants to go to France)

So to test this theory, I’ve decided to come to tumblr and make a silly lil tag game. Basically, its just, include your age, and at this time, five languages you pick that you would learn instantly.

Finding out that the duffers (allegedly, which I only say cause legality??? iG???) used ChatGpt (like based on those pictures) to write the season explains a whole, like guys we might need to rewrite the whole show atp (minus season 1, which was the best written season imo), or at least this last season cause OOF-

Small post cause I saw Kpop Demon Hunters the other day and I'm so feral about it, uh I don't even know where to start holy shit-

I give the movie a 9.5/10, the research that the people behind the movie did to incorporate Korean culture and also stuff in the kpop industry (the latter I caught way more cause I do listen to quite a few kpop groups outside of this) was extremely cool, the development of the plot was awesome, the songs are all bops (my personal favourite was Golden btw if anyone cares)

Also I'm ferally gay for all three of the girls and a little for Jinu, who's voiced by freaking Ahn Hyo-seop (FRICKING TAEMOO from Business Proposal, one of the only kdramas I've seen, super funny imo btw)

For those of you who don't even know who i'm talking about (though i doubt it due to how popular haikyuu is), i'm talking about hitoka yachi, the first-year manager of the karasuno volleyball team.

yachi is a very sweet character and genuinely cares for the well-being of everyone she interacts with, and admires everyone regardless of gender. she's shy, gets flusteres super easily and is pretty imaginative, which the latter is probably partily why she ended up working in an ad desgin company after she graduated college.

She underestimates how important she is and does tend to see herself as unskilled, but throughout the course of the manga, we see her grow into somone who is able to deal with her nervous nature and can comfort her teammates and remains consistently curious about volleyball as a way to understand the passion her friends on the team have about the sport.

so... I ended up not doing anything related to what I wanted to post for fun here, at least, so far. However, I do wanna randomly rant for a sec and see if anyone in the void sorta gets it, ya know?

I've started college (freshman yr) and... idk? I'm pondering on how idk how tf to make friends? I've mentioned this to friends from middle and highschool, but I've noticed the pattern of me not making friends on my own, but rather having other people, for whatever reason, approach ME first.

I have TALKED to people in some of my classes this sem, but I see other freshman easily able to make friends. It's sorta difficult because I live off-campus and don't have a driver's license, so one of my parents have to pick me up instead (some bs visa stuff ig, long story there lol), but I don't have irl friends here.

I'm wondering if I have the capacity of even making the first step, especially since I seem to suffer from social anxiety (never formally diagnosed, but idk what else it could be tbh). Is this a common feeling? Why do I have to feel this way? Wtf is wrong with me?
