Overwhelming consensus on this post is that you should come out in your superhero identity first, and then a couple weeks down the line come out in your secret identity and when people ask just go “Oh seeing Spider-Girl come out really gave me the confidence to come out myself” which is the best possible answer
I always find it weird how Mimic in the OG Diamond Cutters screams traitor like sure he is, but it felt too obvious since he is the only non-mammal in the group. It kinda like having a snake in an all-mammal group which screams traitor. Which is why I wish they kept the original designs for the rest of the Diamond Cutters because it felt like he was too different from the group and not just being the traitor. I sometimes mistake Claire for a frog rather than a monkey due to her green color. It does not help that if they kept the original age, Mimic would be considered the oldest of the group in a group filled with young people since I felt like Smithy is the oldest.
Claire wasn't supposed to be an aquatic animal before getting changed to a monkey? I think I've heard that somewhere but don't quote me in that, I'm probably wrong
