Espinfinie is so fucking funny to me. The entire ship stemmed from a theory that happened while the Chaotix Casefiles was coming out, and when the theory turned out to not be true, everyone just decided to ignore it because the theory made way more sense than what actually happened. Espio and Infinite don't even really interact at all in the actual Casefiles. I don't think they have a conversation with each other. But we all decided that no, Infinite was actually Rouge the whole time and was flirting with Espio (even though that didn't actually happen) and that Infinite is down sooo bad for that chameleon. He's so obsessed with Espio that he created an illusion of Rouge to flirt with him (fake and didn't happen) and Espio was oblivious to it because he's just immune to women flirting with him. And I think all of that is based as hell.
I always find it weird about how they are many female characters on the good side than on the villain side. It is not just IDW but other medias like Sticks, Professor Tori, and Trip, since we haven't had a new male hero for a while, and the recent good-side males are just support, like Don and Nite. The recent male characters on the good side besides IDW were Silver and Chip.
I feel like I think it is time for a new male hero, even if it's just one. Similar to how they should be more female villains.
I don't complain about the focus on more heroines in general, since before it was... VERY lackluster. Like painfully lackluster. But also,, i wouldn't complain about having a new male hero, I think that'd be pretty cool and awesome... And the female villain side of the franchise is DRYYYYY. Enigma is awesome! Come on, give me more of that! More women being evil!!!

then it made me realize how shadow is so reliant on thinking about maria and his promise to her because she's literally the only person that he have as a guide reference to do stuff
maria wasn't just his friend and sister, she by all accounts was also his mother figure by how she definitely had to raise and taught him stuff during his time at the ark alongside with gerald together thus maria was basically parentified in her relationship with shadow since do note maria is a preteen at around 12 years, this 12 year old girl had to be the mom to the ultimate lifeform
and it's repeating sage of her being parentified when it comes to having to take care her grown ass adult creator

I haven't thought about Maria and Shadow that way. You're absolutely right, she was, by all means, sort of Shadow's second caregiver. How long did Shadow ACTUALLY live in the ark anyways? A year? Two? AT MOST I'd say 4 and that's pushing it. Yeah maybe he was made already having the mind of a teenager/young adult/whatever the fuck you hc Sonic's age as, but he factually really only lived and experienced a couple of years before getting frozen in time. And, while I don't think Gerald was evil to him back there, in fact he was likely at least a decent father to Shadow, no doubt all of Shadow's emotional issues were handled by Maria
... You know, like a mother would do to a child confused about the world... Like how a mother would raise and thought a child what's right or wrong... And doing that at 12 years old...

there’s something bit terrifying that sage is an ai robot and she’s mentally a child meaning as an ai robot, she literally cannot grow up unless say she goes out her to modify her body to be more like grown up
and that if she wants to have an adult body with having grown into being mentally adult which i highly doubt given her relationship with her eggman with her want of a family, she’ll stay in her child form and still be mentally a child to be the idealized perfect daughter to eggman forever

See this is why I don't buy the people arguing that Eggman's a good that to her because "he spoils her" when that's just part of the bigger problem. She's a forever child. She will never grow because she doesn't have to, and she doesn't have to because Eggman wouldn't want her to. Growing up emotionally would imply gaining more independency, and of course Eggman wouldn't be a fan of that. I mean, her father didn't really ever emotional matured, so of course she's going to take after his example... And what will happen when Eggman eventually dies? Sage won't have a clue of what to do. She won't have the emotional maturity to handle it, because she'll still be a little girl despite the years passing by. A little, scared girl without a father to validate her

I need you all to hear me out on Crazy Carl returning and adopting Silver in the 5th sonic movie
Like when Silver comes to the past he finds the Sanic drawing and is like “Omg the Iblis trigger!” And Carl is like “Yep that’s our very own Blue Devil” and Silver is all shocked, thinking that “Blue Devil” is the true name for the Iblis Trigger asks where he is and promises to capture him to which Carl says “Oh I’ve tried to capture him myself before. I wish you luck” and Silver is enamoured with Carls bravery (Thinking Sonic is a dangerous villain obviously) and respects him deeply and then Carl shows him to the Wachowski house.
And at the end of the film Silver decides to stay because his future is still broken even without Iblis just like game canon and he stays with Carl and they are father and son.
My unpopular opinion is that every Sonic game should have as a reward for 100% the game (as in, collecting all of whatever tokens the game has) they let you play as Metal Sonic
He needs to be in all Sonic games, I don't care if he's just a reskin like in Adventure Dx, I NEED HIM NOW
