personally Im not sure if im gonna watch it entirely, ill just tune in for the victoria and kate parts and skip the rest cause im so over lis1 and chloe/max at this point lmao, i just want some fuel for chasemarsh

speaking of which... Like I said before, I can't just ship it and overlook how Kate's blackness comes into the dynamic cause now it's a black girl getting bullied by a white girl

I think im gonna wait for the show to actually come out and observe how they'll portray victoria in that regard- like if she's primarily targeting Kate for her blackness and if not then she's still weaponizing her whiteness (if she's aware of that or not), it's still something we gotta be extra careful and sensible about

Victoria always came off as one of those white feminist girl boss type of liberals like yeah she's not completely backwards but she doesn't grasp things like intersectionality and white privilege. She is capable but that's gonna take some humbling, self-reflection and serious character growth.

I feel like if we're gonna approach the ship from the show's perspective then it's better that we do it in an AU where the bullying didn't happen or in a post time-skip AU where Victoria has grown as a person and is aware of how she weaponized her whiteness even if she was motivated by Kate's "hypocrisy"
