I’m not one to post things like this but I have fun headcanons(i think these count as headcanons) for waterboy and mmm

He had more aquatic like features but hides a lot of them out of habit

He has gills but he didn’t get them at first meaning when he was first getting used to his powers, his grandma would sometimes have to watch him sleep to make sure he didn’t drown

He has longer webbing between his fingers and toes

I like the idea of him originally having sharper teeth but when he was younger they got filed down to look more “aesthetically pleasing” by his dentist and he never got up the courage to tell future dentists to stop

He can regrow teeth whenever he loses them and lost a bunch when he was younger and still getting used to his puddles

Just in general he’s actually really adaptable but it can be overshadowed by his anxiety

Waterboy has a loy more sassy comments run through his head than you would expect but he rarely ever says them out loud (both because of his anxiety and thats not the manners his grandma taught him). But because of this I think it would be fun for him to by paired up with a telepath with little filter who ends up laughing at things he thinks or repeats them out loud.
