#had a migraine. ate some pizza. yapped with my wife.#packed because I'm spending a week with my other partner in saint paul this week #drove my gf to a pride dance party/anti-line 5 fundraiser #I wanted to go too but I have shit to take care of here before I leave so needed to finish that #by the time I got back home I felt like shit from going up and down the stairs so I never did get to go #after I recovered i washed dishes while listening to lpotl #wife got home. yapped with her for wayy too long. finished dishes. she just went to bed #now I am just chilling and have to wake up in like 5 hours so we can leave early enough in the morning #oh I also dug out all the boxes we used in our last move because I'm helping my partner gtfo of their current living situation #which is a whole fucking ordeal but I'm glad they're finally making this choice and I think it'll make their quality of life so much better #I worry about them getting the support they need but this isn't worth what little they do get now #gonna have to figure out how moving states is going to affect their disability app and insurance shit too #like. they actually have a good care team rn so they've been trying to not move for so long to keep their insurance and stay with them #but I'm p sure badgercare has an hmo that would keep them in network and most of their appts are virtual already anyway #so I don't think it's going to be that bad. it's just a lot of paperwork and change #I hope they get to keep the good mattress for their bodys sake #but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it #probably need a truck for that huh... hmmm

I liked the finale at face value but I also know there's a lot I won't be able to appreciate until the public release and I can pause and process all the things built into it that are hard to catch on the first run through. Because there were things that confused or baffled me but the entire show has been like that so I'm not surprised the finale would be the same way. idk man. I just think ultimately this is a huge and beautiful piece for trans people and, honestly, anyone struggling to find joy and hope in the world right now. I haven't read the criticisms yet so maybe I'm missing some major reason that people disliked it but I also don't know what else you expected this to be other than what it was

sometimes I randomly think about the time a girl posted in this girls only Facebook group I’m in telling everyone how she broke up with her boyfriend and he lied saying that he lost the spare key she gave him, only to then break into her apartment when she wasn’t home and steal the cat they’d adopted while they were together, but then he denied having done this and she didn’t really have proof that he took the cat since he wouldn’t let her come into his place and look for it. And then another girl saw this post and knew her ex-boyfriend, and she was like “girl. I used to hook up with your mans back in xxxx and I still have his number. If you want, I’ll hit him up and get him to invite me back to his place and see if your cat’s there.” And the OP was like “bet.”

So this woman hit up homie dog, asked him out for drinks, went home with him, slept with him, and then woke up in the middle of the night and TOOK THE CAT. Like she had only said that she would confirm if the cat was there but then she took it upon herself to steal this woman’s cat back. Like she full on Trojan horsed this man and then hit up homegirl like “I got the goods. Where you wanna meet.” And then the two of them posted a photo of them together with the cat to the group.

And I just think women supporting women is so beautiful.
