You pick up a newspaper or magazine to pass the time, no advertisements only articles. You turn on your game console, the home screen is just about your games, no ads to buy more. You open a streaming app, you don't pay extra for no ads, there's just no ads ever.

Think about how much of your time is spent looking at ads. "Download ublock" yeah I know, I have. But that doesn't change that the world is covered with endless advertising. Imagine never seeing that again. How much better our lives would be.

Making motivational "it's never too late to transition" posts is really undercut if the age you're highlighting is still young. Claiming that your transition was late and it worked out great for you actually makes older people more afraid to transition if you're saying that shit in your 20s. How do you think a trans person in their 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s feels when you're 23 and calling yourself a late transitioner?

It's never too late until you're in a coffin. It is worth it for a single day of being yourself, even if you're 110.

Everyone stop sleeping in scrivner! It's cheap as hell, it has an insanely long free trial and it's perfect for long fics/ multi chapter/ people who like to draft a lot or people who like to research a lot!

It kicks the ass of single-document formats like google docs and word because you can keep everything open in one file, right where you need it all the time AND you can have two+ pages open at once side by side. I keep all my research and micro-glossarys open next to the chapter I'm working on.

It's local and super lightweight, good for battery because it's not trying to update to the internet every .5 seconds.

And it's multi-device so you can have it on your computer and your ipad/phone at the same time.

#i wouldn't call $95 cheap as hell (i am not american i do not use freedom dollars)

Looks like it's £55 now, but in fairness- I paid £37.60 for it in 2021, then a further £24 to upgrade it in 2024... so technically I've paid £61 for the same program. But I've also used it non stop on 3 devices since I bought it and racked up somewhere close to 750k words (7 fics, 1 novel, 13 video games) So £12.32 a year, £4.10 per device or 0.0008 per word so I'd still say it was well worth it :)

The free trial also only counts USE days, so if you only use it once a week the free trial will last 30 weeks.

#£55 is somehow more expensive than it charges here #that's $105 AUD so I'm glad it's charging $95 #i know it's a very good program tho...
