yea yea I'm a big Dreamling shipper because they're just very cute together and I like their lore blah blah blah, BUT ALSO I think they deserve each other! I think neither of them deserves better or worse. I think they are both morally grey, I think they've seen each other at their best and at their worst, I think that Dream's former consorts did not deserve such an asshole of a boyfriend, I think that Hob is just enough of a dickhead himself to deal with Dream's arrogant/selfish side. Hob deserves someone as immortal as him, someone who won't die on him, someone he won't ever have to leave unless he wants to, someone who's jealous and arrogant, but also soft and ever curious. Meanwhile Dream deserves someone who doesn't care for his power over his character, someone who keeps coming back, someone who is so intrinsically human, in all the good and bad ways.
