safe, sane, and alive, alive, alive!
Welcome one and all to tumblr's oldest No Evil fan page! I was initially active from 2015-2017, until taking a sudden 8-year sabbatical to recover from torture. But f-yeah-no-evil is back, and she’s healthier, happier, and sillier than ever!
Check under the cut for my tagging guide, resources, & faq. Thanks for stopping by, and if you sent a message to me way back when, thank you very much for helping me survive!

Resources & FAQ
before there was a No Evil Wiki there was meeeeeeee baybeee
Q: There's a No Evil comic? Where do I find it?
No Evil: Judgment: Available for purchase here and here. Required reading for No Evil fans, this prequel story establishes a lot of Murder's character, what the Tezcatlipocas are, and character relationship expansion. No Evil isn't a complete story without it!
Brother Swan: Here. Betsy's webcomic, set in the same universe as No Evil many years later, but started earlier. Sometimes discussed for lore reasons, but doesn't feature any character from No Evil except Angel.
No Evil: Ornament: Available here. A little bit of backstory for Bill, the spirits of Salem, and Wrip and Vinkle -- but not much.
Q: Why'd you stop updating for so long/What do you mean, torture?
I started this blog while trapped in a beige room and largely not allowed to leave, and spent my entire waking memory until 18 overmedicated by a factor of 3 on amphetamines (typical adhd meds). Because pharmacological abuse describes someone who abuses a prescription, and not the doctor abusing their patient by medicating them into compliance, the succinct term to describe what I went through is pharmacological torture. My experience shapes how I talk about No Evil's asylum subplot.
I also primarily ran this blog in Kenya and Uganda, fun fact. Nasema Kiswahili!
Q: I'm interested in No Evil's folklore homages and want to learn more! Where do I get started?
Aztec Calendar, the easiest way I've found to learn the Aztec time keeping system used in No Evil. It appears to be a hobby site, but the sources page is astoundingly extensive.
Sacred Texts, particularly their pages on Aztec religion and Native American folklore.
An oldie but a goodie: You can't go wrong with a good Wikipedia trawl!
Digital Florentine Codex: Presented in Spanish, Nahuatl, and English, the Codex is the definitive primary source on Aztec culture.
Libellus de Medicinalibus Indorum Herbis: This will not interest you unless you have a special interest in poisons, but here's a book on Aztec herbal medicine.
Frank L. Baum on Project Gutenberg: The Oz series is riffed often in No Evil, and considering it's all public domain, you can read the whole series online for free!
Aztec Numerology (and more) on Mexicolore: I'm not sure how credible this source is, and it seems mostly intended for kids. Take it with a grain of salt, but it's good for the occasional bite-sized fact.
An Introduction to the Maya Hieroglyphs: Want to learn the Maya Number System & more? This has just about everything you need to know!
And if you want to chat about anything No Evil, my askbox is always open!
A final note: I primarily ran this blog when I was 13-15 and an active torture victim. If trawling the archives, you may find past posts that are cringy, cruel, or just plain unfunny; while you’re welcome to interact, please tread softly. Thank you.
