So I like to thing of it as them having a cloud of little black instant matter particles blotting out the sun there. There’s probably some layer of AR lighting involved in CrossWorlds but it seems to me like they felt it was practical to blot out the sun for real!

Also whenever I screenshot the dialogue dump site I try to link it since it’s hard to find by looking it up and I find it very useful:

If you include any characters who were canonically written as male in your tags regardless of reason, the reverse bear trap attached to your head will activate.

She has every tag in the game except for Enemy (which is the most common one) and Player (literally Hornet only) which rapidly slices a huge chunk of the field down— especially when her Hunter’s Journal count of 1 tells you whether you’re looking at a boss or a merchant/NPC. This is a distinction completely unique to her, all other merchants are not legally NPCs and Garamond and Zaza are the only other NPC Bosses. (They’re basically a worse Shakra.)

She’s white-gold, so unlike most of Silksong so she avoid losing colour information to the “everything gives a partial colour hit” problem you can get on gray character days while still having useful colour info.

The location info is a bit of a weakness, covering every area she sells a map to and half the major settlements, so it’ll usually be yellow. But when it’s red that can save you a lot of trouble trying to guess other things that appear in lots of areas to triangulate their locations, and usually indicates something that’s exclusive to one area.

The HP/Journals is useless if it’s an enemy, they’re all below 600 and almost always above 1, if it’s an enemy you need a follow up “enemy opener” guess. But there are 14 other bosses with the decency to be less than or equal to Shakra’s HP so it’s not so bad there despite her reputation for being glassy as fuck, she eliminates every act 1 fight other than TLJ/Phantom. (And Lace I guess, but only because they use her act 2 HP.)
