Charlie and Wagstaff! A mocking bird, and a marroter

okay okay I have like, a TON of ideas with them

Okay first errr:

Wagstaff:

With Wagstaff, I would like to think his transformation into a creature was a LOT more gradual, since he's never really in the Constant, at least, very limitedly there. At first, he probably doesn't really have things such as the tail, and probably much much less fur. As well as his anatomy remaining pretty humain like still. Everytime he goes back to the real world, he goes back to being human

However, as time goes on and he goes more and more in the Constant, he does start getting a whole lot more like our regular survivors, modified anatomy (longer neck), more fur, as well as gaining a tail. And now, going back to the realworld has some more repercussions, slightly more hairy, and his hands are now much more alike to the paws (flippers?) of a marroters

I think that, during his death in the Celestial Scion fight, he actually gets turned fully into a marroters right before being anihilated. A horrifying sight for the survivors, because if he got turned fully into a beast, albait briefly, could they be turned too? Are there beasts in the Constant who were previously humans? Before being turned into mindless beast by divine entities similar to Scion?

It's quite... shocking. And a lot to think about.

Charlie:

Okay sooooo, with Charlie I got a bunch of ideas.

I think that due to her nature as the Grue, and being asimilated with Metheus and theeen throned, she would actually be able to shapeshift into many shadowesque creatures. Blend within shadows and take whichever shape she may wish. However, humanoid shapes would be very hard to hold before she takes the throne.

Once she becomes Queen, she takes on a Mocking bird like humanoid shape, simply because it somehow feels right and comfortable. She could still shapeshift into other forms, but this one simply feels correct.

I'd like to doodle her shapeshifting and such and may post that in the future, but for now I only got doodles of her queen/main form!

Wolfgang and Wes!

I picked Wolfgang as a koalephant because of the circus theme and well, big strong giant who's really nice and kind of scared easily!

What would Webber be in this au.. is he still spider or do you think since everybody else are creatures that he is a human? Imagining some body horror type shit rn of a spider wearing human skin now LMAO

In my AU, Webber is STILL a spider! However, unlike in canon, where he was eaten and merged with the spider outside of the Constant, he was fused with it upon entering the Constant :)

as a result, he kept some of his human clothes and features!

The changes for him are more lore than appearance wise, but I still tried to make the design a bit more different from canon :> (he gets to keep his clothes because, if the other survivors all do, then why wouldn't he?)

Unlike in canon, he was never exactly chased from his home, after he pushes off the spider and it attacks him, while knowing he's in danger, he kind of wishes to be pulled out of this and survive, terrified of dying from his actions

Maxwell, hearing his pleas, then pull him into the constant, to "save" him from dying there. (However, we all know it won't really do so. )

His parents probably rush into the study room after hearing Webber's screams, but found nothing other than a broken cage, and papers thrown around the room, as if a strange 'tornado' had gone through the place, and Webber nor the spiders are anywhere to be found :) (aka messy room because of the portal)

I think once he meets the other survivors, he's confused and thinks everyone has 'fused' with some other creature too, howerever, he's just a bit of a special case... what do you mean no one else can discuss with the creature they turned into?!

Wilson and Willow! Both saladmanders, how odd huh?

I'm gonna try drawing out some designs for the other survivors since I've only ever really shown off maxwell and wilson's designs, but I swear I got more in mind about my creature AU!

they're goobers that would totally play like a doggo mixed with a cat and I always love finding one and taking it back to my base
