The mother of Wyatt who was widowed after her husband died from the same disease that claimed others. Their marriage had been unhappy long before his death.once he was gone, Ronda found herself emotionally exhausted.
Ronda would be a defense instructor learning how to use hand to hand combat. Her son Wyatt was relentlessly bullied by his obsession with insects and the stars. Ronda resented how he was treated and how she herself was labeled an odd mother.
Ronda believed she failed as a mother especially being judged by her peers. Tired of being dismissed and desperate for authority, she approached Wyatt’s teacher, Wade.
they found recognition in each other from the moment they locked eyes.
Both were deeply dissatisfied with their lives. Wade confided his unhappiness with his marriage and family, despite Humora’s devotion to their children. Ronda, desperate for something new, accepted the attention. What began as shared grievance turned into a secret affair.
The affair did not remain hidden. Gazira’s father and other Eukaryonites witnessed their closeness, and the truth spread quickly. When Wade’s wife; Humora learned of this she couldn’t believe it until she found out the hard way on Wade’s betrayal. she pursued a divorce after seeing the sight the beheld her one morning. Before any formal judgment could be passed, Wade fled abandoning everyone including Ronda.
Ronda was then forced to deal with the backlash losing her job, custody of Wyatt, and was arrested. Wyatt became a target of cruelty, bullied relentlessly by the two bullies.
Ronda was confined to the dungeon alongside other prisoners. By the time Queen Apalla died, her fate remained unresolved. Under King Cerveras’ rule, she was brought to trial. Though condemned for her actions, Cerveras took note of her resilience and unexpected ability to fight an observation that spared her life.
It was during this period that Ronda and Wade reunited.
Wade, having once again evaded true consequence, returned to her with familiar words and fake remorse. Ronda knew he had abandoned her. She knew what he was. And still, she chose him.
Ronda found a bitter sense of validation in Wade’s presence. With him, she did not care about her bad reputation but sought validation from him. This in turn allowed her to join the Claw of Cerveras as an enforcer, she was more useful than Wade but made sure he pulled his weight so she won’t lose him.
