A Eukaryonite horse with an image to uphold, one of status, grace, and beauty. However beneath her beauty hides her rudeness, and vindictive nature. Her parents were not good role models, they forced Zoey to act rude to others and keep a high status, excel in the school, and be an image to all her peers.
Her parents were in charge of the jewelry, as such they wanted to maintain a high profile which includes their daughter. Due to this Zoey as well was favored by her teacher Wade using this to bully other students mainly targeting Gazira due to Wade’s dislike of her parents.
She often clashed with another student who became a Eukaryona knight; Tigra. Tigra was often a loner before she decided to join the knights. After joining the knights, Tigra became more outgoing leading to a higher reputation that she outclassed Zoey. Zebron once harbored feelings toward Zoey who knew that deep down maybe she wasn’t such a bad person, but she as well humiliated him.
Zebron, despite being the son of one of the Eukaryona knights, wasn’t famous or popular compared to Nergal. So she humiliated Zebron and choosing his bully Nergal as her boyfriend. It didn’t help that Zebron’s teacher Wade did nothing and orchestrated the events.
This act along with Tigra’s popularity caused major backlash and she lost her status and was bitter. Zoey was once so almighty to her peers but now she felt weak.
That bitterness grew even more when the queen died and Zoey’s parents abandoned Zoey to deal with King Cerveras. She was left with nothing but Nergal and his family before they too were locked away. After the peaceful Eukaryonites fled the kingdom, both Zoey and Nergal were forced to abandoned his parents to save themselves.
She continued to be bitter to everyone even after they were safe but no one wanted to deal with it. Nergal as well changed and became possessive of Zoey, which caused the both of them to fight when Zoey would attempt to abandon him. He was so scared of losing the only person he had left and destroyed the last remaining thing her parents gave her and they had an intense fight causing the both to break up.
Zebron and his friends felt empathy for their bullies knowing that deep down they were just misguided children. There was a chance to help them and especially Zoey who realized how awful her parents were.
Having nothing left to lose she decided to take their advice and made attempts to improve herself. Such as becoming nicer to others, surrounding herself with positive figures in her life, and learning how to let her resentment go.
Little does she know both Tigra and Gazira; a fallen hero and a victim of Zoey’s bullying are planning to come back, now the once vindictive bully is the hero against those she once wronged.
Notes: especially when coming up with this story I wanted a female bully to be redeemed. She’s a reference to the character Chloe from the Miraculous tales of Ladybug and Catnoir series.
For those that don’t know she’s a character that is a bully in the show and is quite controversial based on many fans liking her and wanting to see a redemption arc while the creator refuses to do so. There is more to the story but I won’t go into a rabbit hole about it.
I may express my thoughts on that show with a different channel one day because oh do I have some stuff I would like to say. But that’s a topic for another day.
So now I want to try it my hands at handling a Chloe redemption larc. Also yes I’m aware of Chloe’s half sister Zoé Lee, so I spelt her name as Zoey. I was originally going to name her Sasha, but I thought Zoey sounded better. She also says “Ridiculous utterly ridiculous” when interacting with others at times.
