I would also not be surprised if I got hated on and start being "problematic" for no important reason (which by the way, I'm NOT)

*stands awkwardly in Norah's doorway in a manner uncharacteristic of him*

The older sister to Kasomira, the mother of Nitara; who would do anything to protect her loved ones. Aldith would be trained and utilized the Vaeternian Chain whip of Courage.

She was best known for being an inspiration and at one point one of Vaeternian’s strongest champions. Her monarchs and their Daughter as well saw her as pure hearted soul who wished to protect all life.

She idolized her family including her sister Kasomira who aspired to have a family one day with her husband. Aldith wanted a safe Vaeterneus for her sister and for all the people of Vaeterneus.

Everything changed when Norah, the light realm would challenge Vaeternius in Mortal Kombat. Aldith and several of Vaeterneus’ strongest warriors fought against Norah’s strongest champions, the crusaders. The crusaders who were manipulated by Norah’s protector god Dahish; feared the darkness of Varterneus. Dahish manipulated them to believe that Vaeterneus sought to corrupt and conquer their realm and turn it into a desolate place where the Norans would die.

Aldith and several Vaeternian warriors would fight in the war to protect their fellow Vaeternian brethren. They were successful as the elder gods and even several Norans urged for a peace treaty.

For a moment it the peace treaty was nearly signed but it was broken by a Vaeternian known as Dorian. Dorian was captivated by the Akari; the Noran equivalent of the Jinsei.

He was consumed by the ideas of corrupting it to restore his vanity, he then murdered the father of Abraham Van Daw, the mage and blade smith of Norah. Abraham then casted a ritual known as Hara Kiri; where he infused his soul with a blade that was forged in Norah; the Datusha.

This caused the treaty to be broken with Aldith commanding a troop of her forces in the war. Aldith fought bravely, to keep Vaeternius safe, and to prevent the Norans from killing Vaeterneus. Aldith was successful until a Noran held Datusha blinded by Abraham’s rage.

Aldith could sense the intense hatred for Vaeternians and beings with beast like appearances. Aldith, not wanting to take the life of someone who had no free will, did so. But in that moment of hesitation Aldith was stabbed by the Kriss. but not before taking her killer with her. In her dying words she urged both sides to make peace.

Forces from the beast realm known as Xaa arrived thanks to the monarchs of Vaeterneus and Kasomira to even the odds. Kasomira cradled her sister tenderly, promising her that Norah will no longer invade Vaeternus.

Aldith would be buried with a statue and even stories tell of her life. Nitara herself would treasure the stories of her aunt and held them close. To many who knew her; Aldith can be best regarded as a true vaeternian hero; one who assured protection of their people, but a kind soul to all.

Notes:

Before M1K was released Aldith was originally going to be the mother of Nitara for my fic. However not only was Nitara revealed for the game but so was her mother that goes by the name Kasomira.

Naturally some stuff needed to be changed so I made her Kasomira’s older sister. The drawing showcases both sisters done by a good friend @odie1441 who is making her own au as well. Special thanks to her who will also be including Aldith in her au. And @etherealada05 for her OC Valentina

Xaa, Dorian, and Abraham will be expanded upon soon. I also decided to name the Noran Jinsei the Akari which means light in Japanese; Decided to name it that after MK Onslaught named the outworld Jinsei the Seikatu.
