hello do you have any relationship headcanons on your oc x Canon of flambae x drake they look really interesting and I want to know more about them
- As a matter of fact i do, but since i'm still changing Drake's story to better fit the view i have for him these headcanons may change as well in the future! But let me give you a bit of it anyways!
- Drake is not a morning person, and his will to not drink coffee does not help getting up in the morning; Chad in the other hand has a very specific routine, he can get lazy in morning but he will wake up on time and have a run, either outside or inside. They both work around each other, while Chad is doing his morning routine Drake is waking up and finding the reasons to get up, whats ends up bringing a lot of breakfast in bed later on in their relationship.
- While cuddling i'd say they are definitely a switch in the matter, neither Drake nor Chad have a preference on holding one another but they let each other do it as it naturally happens. Drake Prefers spoiling Chad as he can, be it with pets, kisses or just staying there for as long as Chad wants, only asking to be held if he had truly a bad luck day or is just extra tired/hungry; Chad although tried to spoil Drake as well is way more demanding on how, he already cooks for Drake and is the one usually used as a pillow but he will get out of his way to hold Drake as he wishes; Chad likes to cuddle more than Drake but both of them do it very often so they rarely have to comment to start it.
- Drake tends to have constant nightmares while asleep, he's gotten used to waking up relaxing and falling asleep again, Chad never will, and every time it happens it's like a new worry pop's up on him, a new reason to be extra gentle with Drake while he's asleep, he'll never admit he's doing it but he just cares so much for his lover's well being beside him, and he secretly worries for both if the nightmare is about him, or if it's gonna affect Drake's in a worse way; When Chad has nightmares Drake is good with his gentle words, although a bit lost with his hands, he just whispers gentle words and affirming Chad that everything is okay and safe now, while his lover falls asleep in his arms again, it's rare for it to happen with Chad, but when it does Drake is usually ready to deal with it.
- I imagine Chad sleeping in pajamas, idk why tbh but i just think it fits, and he only sleeps on his underwear if he's lazy or it's extra hot out, he has a skincare routine before bed that he learned online and will be mad if he can't finish it or forgets to do it; Drake in the other hand doesn't really care for his appearance, neither his hair or beard are growing enough for him so he's in a constant "i'll do it later" routine, never actually doing so; When Chad hears about it and actually sees for himself the lack of care both in skin and hair he would just add Drake's routine to his own, taking care and helping him follow the same routine if not for the benefits for time spent together which Drake is happy to attend to.
- Chad is Coffee drinker, already used to it and prefers it bitter; Drake prefers his tea with a lot of sugar, they don't usually mix drinks and both of them are okay with it, even if they may tease each other a little for it.
- Drake is a romance movie time of guy, his favorite series and movies are old time looking ones where love is the only thing between a king and a lady, not really into scary/ocean movies because of his terrible scared reflexes, it's just not something he enjoys; Chad likes documentaries, be it of people, animals or even the fauna, he likes to have it on the background, keeping himself updated on the new movies coming out and/or what's currently popular on media, independent of drama for the sake of saying "i've seen it" and giving his hones opinion about it; Movie nights are discussed and planned, and when they are not one is willing to give up their preferences for the other.
- Chad is the taller figure on the relationship, but that doesn't really stop Drake from flirting any less and holding Chad as if he was the small one on the relationship, Drake loves teasing and although Chad enjoys it it kinda hits on his ego so he never let's it last for too long unless they are fully alone, in that case he will let it happen more often and visibly enjoy it.
- Chad likes to show off, that is no secret, so imagine him showing off his boyfriend to the world, taking pictures to post, being loud about it in public, and nbeing extra when people are watching; Drake on the other hand does not enjoy PDA, yes they are dating, yes they have a deep care for each other, but that does not change their normal lives... Right? His mindset is basically: i have my work, i have my life, and i have a lover i take time out of my routine to spend time with and possibly live with. I can see them fighting about this difference in affection showing, but it's something simple that can be solved with good communication!
For now that's what i'm willing to write, seeing as this already took me more time than i was expecting, thank you for the ask!
