I’ve seen some of the episodes that have aired on CN, but I don’t think I’ve watched all of them. I’m really looking forward to them releasing more!!

It makes me a bit sad that they no longer do the animation by hand, and I’m not even going to get into the unusual art style because I wouldn’t be saying anything that hasn’t already been said. I mean, at least sometimes you forget about the animation changes, and the humor and storytelling still feel the same as before, for the most part.

But I’m not entirely sure what to think, to be honest. Personally, I feel like they probably shouldn’t have made a sequel and should have left the series finished as it was. Still, it’s nice that they continue to think about the fans.

It was fun to draw this dynamic, although I wasn’t really sure what to do with their outfits…

I’m usually only able to find flapper dresses and even then, they’re pretty inaccurate since a lot of search results are just modern day costumes

I get everything from Pinterest! You can literally search for “1920s everyday fashion” or “1920s casual outfit” or “1920s morning fashion” or “1920s everyday photos” and you’ll find hundreds of photos on the subject. It’s important to train your eye! Use keywords in the search bar to make your search easier.

You can also look at paintings from the period and photos of mannequins displaying only the clothing, as those are often quite helpful.

You can also look for Instagram accounts of people who dress in that style. I follow lots of women and some men who dress in a way that’s historically accurate to the era, and they sometimes share historical explanations as well. They’re very useful. (For example Isabel Chan, ma.reine.adrienne or Amber Ortolano !!)

I’ve been inactive for the last month because… well, I’m in university, and it’s exam season plus final projects, so… you can probably imagine where my will to live currently is. I’ve had very little time to draw and I’m too stressed, but freedom is getting closer.

I’m really looking forward to summer so I can start dressing the way I like again, change my style, draw, write, read, travel, do Workaway, work in theatre…

Well, they’re two radically different worlds hahaha. But if you genuinely like vintage and old-timey stuff, and you already know a bit about classic cartoons, then yeah, you’ll probably enjoy it.

I’d recommend watching a video with the game’s intro first, just to get a little spoiler-free introduction to the story, or listening to the soundtrack, which is a 968267/10. There’s also a Netflix show, although if you’re not already a fan it probably won’t do much for you.
