hi!! i was just wondering - in heathers 101 what did they do with 'very'? since in the original show the dream is chandler calling veronica a slut for sleeping with jd but since they didnt sleep together that wouldnt fit??
ok, so! “Veronica’s Chandler Nightmare” (as it’s called in the original score) begins with a little dream-diary-entry from veronica, and then progresses to dialogue between veronica and heather. i’ll just give you an excerpt from the script (or, well, what i’ve deciphered from the boot):
V: Dear diary, it’s been a night of milestones. First kiss, first death sentence. Whatever happens Monday, I guess I deserve it. After all, Martha was a true friend and I sold her out to Joseph Stalin in stiletto heels.
V: How did you get in here?
HC: I’m like oxygen. I’m everywhere. Wait till the school hears that you spent the night with psycho trenchcoat kid.
V: Nothing happened, we fell asleep watching TV!
HC: That’s not what I’m gonna tell everyone. You dirty slut!
V: Why are you so determined to hurt me!?
HC: Because I can. It’ll be so very.
Very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very!
SO, basically heather just threatens to spread rumours around the school about veronica having sex with jd, despite the fact that it never actually happened.
