Misunderstanding #1 Teeth.

Captain marvel is sitting in a justice league meeting obviously not playing attention as he messes around with his mouth. Batman’s about to call him out until the guy pops up in excitement and brandishes a baby bone as he yells about how his tooth fell out to the horror of everyone around him.

Captain Marvel: IT CAME OUT!

Superman: ???

Batman:… is that your tooth?

Flash: holy shit who got a solid hit on you?

Wonder woman: when did you get injured?

Captain Marvel: Huh? No my tooth it finally fell out! It’s been bothering me all day.

Superman: not to be insensitive but aren’t you a little to old to be loosing teeth

Batman: What injured you?

Captain marvel: what?

Batman: we need to know all the threats strong enough to damage someone as strong as-

Captain Marvel: No not that. What do you mean to old?

Superman:… well most people stop losing teeth after childhood-

So I’m been trying to find this fic for months at this point and I’m starting to think it was deleted so this is my last option.

So I think it started with Bruce going full on on the bat thing in early years and making fake wings that get torn off or messed up somehow and after time Bruce just finds it embarrassing like you do something cringe in middle school and remember it randomly, like that.

Then in a JL meeting Barry pulls up a video of early years Batman with the wings and Bruce leaves the room out of embarrassment (But the JL thinks it’s out of sadness or something) and they all come to the conclusion that someone took Batman’s wings.

Then enter in the batboys who all add something to make it worse and Damien suggesting hat he also used to have wings.

Then the JL +JLD make like three teams one who wants revenge, one who wants to make Bruce new magic wings, and one who wants to make him new mechanical wings.

5- extra points if Klarions first instinct is to run to Doctor fate (why should I help you?/ aren’t heroes supposed to be against child marriage?/ omg fine I’ll help)

6- Danny and Klarion meeting NOT knowing who the other guy is and absolutely falling for each other

7- Duke/Dr Fate trying to wingman their friends while figuring out magic/ghost politics

8- A VERY smug Vlad when they all realizes what just happened

And Jaskier noticed.

And then decided yeah, okay, he could work with that.

Which leaves the witcher staring, perplexed, as Jaskier haggles with a merchant for a new blanket for Roach, trying to obtain the dark green piece of woolen fabric at a cheaper price. As he watches Jaskier bring out the agreed upon coin, he remembers the way the bard had insisted she needed a new one because hers was getting too thin, and it was getting colder, and honestly Geralt don’t you care for her at all—

It had made Geralt feel uncomfortably guilty, that it was Jaskier who noticed his horse’s need before he did. The bard didn’t even ride Roach, and yet he was aware of the issue.

Not to mention that Jaskier insisted she be brushed every night, that the pets he gave her helped make her calm and happy. And Geralt wanted to refute that claim, he truly did, but Roach did seem to truly enjoy the attention. In fact, Roach had warmed up to the bard in a way that she had never done with others she saw frequently, like the other wolf witchers or Yennefer.

Perhaps, he conceded, that may be due to the bard bribing her with treats. But even in that, the bard seemed to be a step ahead of him, keeping a ranked list of Roach’s favorite snacks in his journal and updating it as needed. Geralt had tried to convince Jaskier multiple times that she did not need such indulgences, to which Jaskier had pointed out quite frankly that the witcher need not buy ale at every tavern they frequented either, or a bath rather than a swim in a stream, or—

Geralt could admit to himself that the bard had some…convincing arguments. After all, Roach worked so hard, was there for him through so much, and she deserved to be appreciated. Truly.

So maybe Geralt started to pay a little more attention to his horse, and to the care the bard gave her. And maybe he noticed that the bard was shivering more, his thin, flashy doublets not designed for the cooler autumn nights. And if the bard asks, Geralt only bought him the cloak because he knew the bard would soon start complaining about being cold all the time, so this was just a preemptive measure.

Yes, Geralt could have gotten the brown cloak for cheaper, but again, Geralt didn’t want to listen to the bard complain about how ugly he looked in it. So he chipped in the extra coin for the royal blue one, the color that Geralt had noticed the bard favored.

And, okay, Geralt hadn’t really meant to start giving the bard shoulder pats after a particularly rough performance, or to give the bard hugs when the man woke up from nightmares that left him drenched in sweat, unsure of what was real. But honestly, it was just logical to use what seemed to work best, no matter how foreign it felt to the witcher.

It was fine, he told himself, pulling Jaskier closer after one such terror-filled dream. He moved his hand up and down the bard’s back, trying to physically remind Jaskier of where he was.

Geralt reminded himself there was nothing weird about this, that this was how one was supposed to treat traveling partners.

the last time I reblogged this post right before I got a great job, in a permanent work-from-home position, with benefits, retirement, and a salary literally 3x what I was making before, doing something I really like. 

So you know. 

Vlad, having gone through extensive ghost therapy, has improved by leaps and bounds in terms of stability. The reality that Madeline would never love him the way he wanted to be loved had shaken him to the Core, especially after everything.

And Daniel, Danny, had saved him. Even after everything Vlad had done to him.

So when Danny, his charge now, his responsibility after everything that had happened, grasped his sleeve in alarm during a Wayne Gala, Vlad wasted no time when the scent hit his nose.

One of the other guests had made a grievous mistake, bringing that flower here. It may have seemed a bold move, a beautiful thing, but it would be their last mistake.

One arm to bring Daniel into his chest, the material of his jacket should be enough to filter the air, the boy's arm one arm one arm don't think about how he lost the other, fisting in the fabric. The other arm to aim at the offending flower.

His vision was blurry, but that felt like nothing compared to the quiet wheezing he could hear from Daniel. He didn't care anymore. He didn't care how strong his blast was, only that it destroyed that damnable flower.

Singed, or burned, or dead, he didn't care what happened to the body that would dare wear such a thing.

What is Danny is better off cuz he was previously exposed/Vlad is weaker cuz he had to change obsessions or something and…

Like imagine a hero needs something like a cup or gum and captain marvel just pulls it out from his lightning bolt and gives it to the hero and hero is just looking at cap like he just did the coolest thing ever or just straight up shocked

To make it even funnier let’s say cap is looking for something so he’s just throwing things out from his lightning bolt from a rubber duck to a nuke just to pull out a plushie for a kid that was crying

He is insistent that nuns is the correct and modern way to refer to women who've sworn off men in honor of a god or goddess. He also keeps insisting enbys, trans peeps and gnc people in general are 'Loki's beloved devotees'.

He never shows to believe any of the racist stereotypes he's aware of. But he shows worry for people that they'll be targeted in racist ways that no longer apply.
