picked up another Renault book yesterday. her modern ones are always a bit fascinating, in that I'm aware of the biases she had herself and they seem liable to come out more clearly here, when not shrouded behind the whole tableau of ancient Greece, and especially in a "gender nonconforming woman lives with another woman" situation, because if I remember correctly, she did live with another woman but didn't identify as a lesbian. i feel i'll always thoroughly enjoy her work for the writing alone, even though the other more contemporary one i read didn't make an enormous impression on me. this one is a bit funny so far though, which is a little new. interested to see how things will turn out though.

Since the plan is to stretch it throughout summer, I’m doing a longer “deadline” for each prompt + an opening and closing day. This way, we can star/end together but still have our own pace in betweens <3

As always with my prompts: you will get a theme + a specific prompt + a quote. This time, since it's weekly prompts, you can use any of the 3 prompts any time during that week. Be it just one or multiple posts per week, mix and match some of them, skip others entirely - you do you!
