Comics by Rose Anne Prevec.
something about lucrezia starting the show as a young, brilliant girl, faithful to god and trusting and how she slowly loses her faith in god and places it in cesare instead â how, in the last episode, she lets him consume her completely in his darkness. how hard she loves him, enough to stop begging for god to look for her, to feeling god rushing back with a touch of cesare's hand.
something about cesare being a non-believer, how he mocks and questions god and its traditions since the beginning, how he deems foolish to believe in god and prayers but, if he worships someone from the beginning, that person surely is lucrezia. how he kills for her, attends to her every wish, treats her divinely.
something about how they're so devoted to each other in such a way that's blasphemous and outrageous to god.
hereâs some cryptid pevensie headcanons because the idea lives rent free in my head:
đ§ the first year in narnia, peter quickly learns to be careful of his own strength. at thirteen years old, he can summon up the strength of a fully grown man. itâs humorous at first when he accidentally breaks a glass or throws a battle axe through the target, but as he grows older, his strength grows with him; golden hair and a blue-sky smile belie the strength of river-gods and wolf jaws. it is said that he can best the giants in sheer physical strength, and that the bones of narniaâs enemies seem to crack in two in the high kingâs grasp.
đ§ itâs little children who first begin to giggle that queen susan can tell what trouble theyâre going to get into before they even start it. they talk of how her eyes seem to cloud over like the the sky before a rainshower and her voice turns firm and unfinching as oak wood, giving them a little fright until she shakes her head and laughs her sunshine laugh, reminding them not to swim very far across the river. mothers know the look in her eyes; soldiers learn to watch for it, to mark the moments where disaster may come swiftly and they must trust in the gentle queenâs uncanny vision.
đ§ it starts out as a game, as a wine-drunk faun sends a goblet flying off the table at a feast one night. edmund catches it without looking, without spilling so much as a drop. at first, he favors it as a party trick, something to make his siblings laugh - he can catch anything with ease, even with his eyes closed. but as he grows older, the quiet kingâs eagle-keen senses grow ever sharper. soldiers will sit around their campfires and tell tales of the just king who parries the fastest swing of an enemyâs blade and catches flying arrows by the shaft before they hit their mark.
đ§ lucy learns a language that no one in narnia knows besides the land itself; she learns to speak the language of the trees and the rivers and the sea. she does not realize when she switches tongues; when she first learned to speak it, her siblings feared she was going mad. now all of narnia knows that when the little queen hums and trills in strange, wild tones, the very earth will respond; narniaâs enemies become wary of the ground the walk on and the sea that takes them home, lest the valiant queen speak it to life and bid it swallow them whole.
yes! Yes to it all! NowâŚ. Does it follow them back to our world?
one day a rookie is gonna flirt with yuna hollander not knowing who she is. her response will be "oh i'm flattered but you are young enough to be my son who, by the way, will KICK YOUR ASS in this next game." and during the game he will get slammed into the boards at approximately the speed of sound.

Phenomenal spare wheel cover I walked past the other day
I think the most damage this site has done to me is making me think "It's fucken wimdy" when it is, in fact, fucken wimdy outside.
I taught one of my ranching buddies âit fucken wimdyâ and now he says it around his older more established ranching buddies
The exhilaration I get- upon hearing an old rancher (Iâve never met before) in cowboy boots and a cowboy hat while on a horse, grimly saying âit fucken wimdyâ in a thick west Texas accent as he looks down upon his cows- is incalculable

"baby names" is a real misnomer because they're often permanent
there's three rules of naming babies:
what do the initials spell? (I was *this close* to being DMV)
what are the the different abbreviations/contractions/etc? (Michael Hunt, William Stroker, Richard Small, etc)
the name that sounds cute on your little gurgling bundle of joy will still be the one they have when they are an adult filling out a job application. Remember that.
Optional Bonus: if your baby will ever have a job one day, ensure that their email address (if in the standard First Initial, Last Name format) will not be something embarrassing.
Sincerely, someone who had to email an S. Lutz (slutz).

gallavich + text posts i've reblogged (pt. 2/?)
protect em dashes.
protect ânot x, not y, but zâ format.
protect short sentence stacking as a stylistic choice.
protect fanfic writersâwho are kind enough to share their works with people to read for freeâfrom ai witch hunts, speculations and accusations.
âdonât like donât readâ also applies to any fic that is ai-generated and any fic you think is ai-generated by the way. if you donât like what youâre reading for any reason, you can always stop reading and exit the fic at any point. but harassment is never ever justified. no matter if you think youâve found a noble excuse to do it. and alsoâŚ
witch hunts, speculations and accusations harm the writing community as much as ai does. if not more. I donât want to see another innocent writer get driven away from the community because someone decides to harass and accuse them for using ai just because their fic happens to have âai telltalesâ â the same telltales ai got from having been trained on millions of human-made works to mimic how real humans actually write.
This is so important and occurs outside of the fanfic space as well. I've seen authors get rejected because their book sounded 'too AI' when they're just the type of writer who knows how to use em dashes. I've seen content writers and copywriters spend hours on assignments they submit for job applications that reject them for 'using AI' that they never used to begin with! All while those jobs hire writers who did in fact use AI and prompt it NOT to 'sound like AI' (because yes that is something you can very easily do), and publishers work with authors who have openly mentioned using AI for 'editing and brainstorming' while receiving little to no backlash for it.
Also, no you're not some holier than thou smartass for presuming everyone who does not have em dashes/'not x, not y, but z' writing is writing without AI and vice versa. I especially hate when people in power like publishers, employers, and professors use this presumption to make life miserable for writers who genuinely love writing
