Waiting on additional photos of this one too, but here's some more Tron cosplay fun: Sark!

I originally wanted to have him ready for the con in early March, but irreparably effed up the headpiece like two nights before and I had no time to totally remake it. But luckily there was a late April con on the horizon that I could try to get him ready for, and that time, I succeeded!

This cosplay took easily over 100 hours to make, and was only the second non-closet cosplay I've ever done. By far the most arduous step was painting. Every single bit of red was painted by hand, the vast majority freehanded. It took looking at dozens of screencaps from as many angles as possible to make it as accurate as possible. I learned a lot in the process, and while I wouldn't say it's perfect, I'm so happy with how it turned out! I already know I want to redo the hood and bodysuit at some point, and the boots need fixing after a busy weekend, and I'd love to use more screen-accurate materials like leather and aluminum someday... but again, for a first attempt at him, it turned out great!

And I have to say, having Paul Niemeyer, the artist for the Tron arcade game, ask to get a photo with me before I could even ask to get a photo with him was the ultimate compliment. Met Warren Davis of Q*bert fame too, and posed for photos with dozens of other people over the weekend. And I also placed second in my first speed puzzling competition!
