The Golden Age of Airbenders. I painted this image for the flashback sequences in Avatar Aang, depicting Sonam’s ancient Airbender civilization in its heyday.

The bottom image is the version that ended up in the movie, and the rest are all explorations of other possible directions. I was only responsible for color and paint; the character design is by the incredible Kihyun Ryu and Ji Hyeon Choi!

I made these paintings of Tagah and Sonam for the flashback sequences in the Avatar Aang movie, which I was so lucky to help guide the style direction of.

These are the very first paintings I made for Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender. I designed the art style for the Sonam and Tagah scenes throughout the film! I want to thank PD Jake Panian and AD Aaron Loftis for trusting me so much with these parts of the movie; their incredible leadership and support carried our entire team.

My little brother had an idea for a game while he was still just a kid in high school. 8 years later, he has somehow managed to bring UNBEATABLE to reality through nothing but his own blood, sweat and tears, and with the incredible contributions of his teams at D-Cell Games and Playstack. I can’t even begin to express how proud I am of him and of this story, it seriously makes me feel emotional when I think about how much love and devotion he and D-Cell have put into this game.
