i’m at peace with myself while i’m surrounded by the spirits alive, my death is as sweet and soulful as a child’s laughter, i’m still alive in the way i put myself out here in this wretched world, my beauty strapped away so effortlessly as the months pass by, not one soul looks at my ugly truth, no one will accept me as i am, no one will stand by me and admire my naked soul, i am left with no protection, but there is always that one lonely soul who is out here looking to fill in their empty hearted hole. and that’s where you come in,  you don’t just see my bare body, you see what my bare body holds. i am left with no protection, until you remind me who i can be when the sun and the rain nourishes me in the month of may. i’m at peace with myself while i’m surrounded by the hypocrites who are desperate to keep me, only to breathe the air i give. till the day i’m chopped off to the very core of the roots to my heart then.. then they will realize how precious i was when they run out of air to breathe. moral of the story: don’t keep me to resent me, keep me to love me.
