Two capable Whumpees who were captured together and went through horrifying things. Torture, experimentation, something else?
They manage to escape where they were held, but now they're on the run, wounded, weak, with their captors chasing them.
So they have to keep moving, have to be smart, have to survive. And they're skilled, so they fall into a routine of survival.
But the trauma of what happened isn't gone. And while they're on the run, they have to deal with that, as well.
Their captors are close, and they have to hide, quickly. But A freezes when B tries to get into a dark hiding place. They were kept in the dark for weeks, they don't want to go in there- so B has to try to stay calm, calm A down, and hurry up before they're found.
A panicking when they're hiding, and B holding a hand over their mouth to keep them quiet.
B can't sleep, nightmares are keeping them up and fear of being found makes it even harder to sleep.
B is having difficulty eating, as their food was regularly poisoned, or they were punished for eating.
Something sends one of them into a panic attack, while the other has to calm them down, no idea what's happening or what to do.

Do y'all wanna see baby's first whump? In my tender years or my late teens, I had no idea what whump was or why I loved people getting kidnapped/captured so much. Nor did I know why there wasn't more of those things in literature/media. So I did the only rational thing I could do and drew what I wanted to see more of in the world.
