idk who needs to hear this but,,,every piece of fandom content you make should be self indulgent. you should be creating because it gives you happiness and nothing less. you aren't a machine meant to only give to other people. the enjoyment should always come before the validation.

I've just noticed the only portraits where Caleb's face is scratched out are the ones where Philip looks happy, what if it's a subconscious thing where the happy times hurt him too much to remember and he tried to make himself forget them because if he only remembers the stuff that happened after, it's easier for him to go through with his plan ok my heart is broken now that's enough portrait redraws for the day :'))))))
