i've spent this afternoon bartering it forward.
there's this nice man, just a guy. just a fellow human. he's tired from life and loneliness, clearly he just needed a friend. his kitchen table was unusable, his glass coffee table was grimey.
i made his kitchen table clear and made two of his chairs usable. the other chairs have their places, next to his musical instruments.
he collects tiny shiny pieces of glass and broken bits of what-nots and thingiemabobs. he talks to the angels- old music stars.
people think he's crazy. he's just saying he relates to their music. he walks with angels.
he just needed a friend. he clearly wanted to just say and do and hear cool things. i listened. he let me just exist. he let me speak, and play music, on his instruments and out of my cellphone. he laid down, i spontaneously started making his space more usable, more beautiful.
because, nothings matters in this world, so, all that matters is what we do.
annnnnnnd now I'm watching Angel (set up his wifi connection on his roku :) & drinking some tequila and orange juice and cheap but nourishing grocery store protein and some nice chips.
life is not always so soul crushing as it seems in the moment. the morning sun comes back, again again, like it always does.
and at night, the moon and stars will light the way.
do not fret,
tomorrow will be better.
